HAVE FAITH IN GOD FOR THE APPROPRIATE MARRIAGE PARTNER
WEDNESDAY JANUARY 24
TEXT: Psalm 37: 4-7
Key Verse: “House and riches are the inheritance of fathers: and a prudent wife is from the LORD.” Proverbs 19: 14
Have faith in God, He will give you the marriage partner that will satisfy your heart, because the Bible says, if a son shall ask any of you that is a father, Give me bread, will he give him a stone? If he shall ask for fish, will he give him a serpent? If ye being evil know how to give the exact thing that your children ask for, how much more will your heavenly Father give you the exact thing that you asked for? Have confidence in God, He knows even what you need more than you do. Your parents can leave wealth for you but don’t rely on the choice of a wife or of a husband that your parents can give you or recommend for you. No, they cannot give you that. As for marriage partner, it is from the Lord. It is the Lord that sees a man’s heart. It is God that sees into the future. It is God that gives a prudent wife. Therefore have full confidence in Him who knows the thoughts that He is thinking towards you, thoughts of peace, to give you a future and a hope, to give you an expected end. Go about serving God; go about doing good and living the righteous life and God will give you the desire of your heart. He knows it. Adam went about doing His work and God brought the exact thing his heart was sighing for as he saw it in the animals. God brought a wife to him. Go and serve Jesus, God will bring a husband to you. You may say, “My hope is past, can it happen again? Sarah said so, but not before God.
Follow God! He is a rewarder! Fret not yourself for those who are marrying. Someone said, “I am want to go to the village, my mother is calling me”. He went and came back with two bags, a woman was holding another bag! You said, “Ah! Brother? So it was marriage you went for”? “In fact, when I went there, my mother had prepared this one for me. She is so willing, as you see her like that, she is very nice! She is very nice!” Hahaha! Don’t ask him if there is another nice one there in the village for you. Fret not yourself of those that prosper in their way, those that make evil connections and are marrying. Woman, fret not yourself of those who frame up dreams and visions; who know how to entice men; some even use their body to entice fellow Christians to marry them. Be peaceful and be patient.
Thought for the day: Pray fervently and persistently with patience for His gift of marriage partner
Song for the day: O yes He answers prayers

Bible reading for the day: Exodus 7-8; Matthew 17

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
