DO NOT WORSHIP YOUR LEADER
SATURDAY JANUARY 20
TEXT: Acts17:11-12
KEY VERSE: “25 And as Peter was coming in, Cornelius met him, and fell down at his feet, and worshipped him26 But Peter took him up, saying, Stand up; I myself also am a man” Acts 10:25-26.

The authority in the name of Jesus is greater than every name, in His name we get healing, strength, deliverance, peace, joy, victory, progress, and heaven. Never exalt the name of your General Overseers, Bishops etc above the name of Jesus Christ. The followings are ways that will help you relate with your Christian leaders in holiness, righteousness and in the truth of God:
(a). It is good to submit to and follow the faith of your godly leaders. It is also recommended to give them godly counsel, gift, love them, and pay them well to encourage them in the work;
(b). Work faithfully with your leaders: the reward is according to your work and not according to your position in the church or ministry;
(c). Do not speak evil against your leaders. Follow godly way to resolve any grievances and do not involve others by criticism and evil speaking against your leaders (James 5:19);
(d). Seek your leaders good and not to hurt them (Titus 3:1-5);
(e). Do not worship your leader no matter how anointed he/she might be, worship God only (Rev 22:8-9);
(f). Submit the leadership of your soul under a leader scripturally proven to be after Christ and not a sheep in wolf’s clothing (1John 4:1);
(g). Never consider the sins of your leader to be small thing it shall damn your soul. If he fails to repent abandon him and treat him as an expired drug (Titus 3:10-11);
(h). Do not seek spiritual blessing from backslidden leaders or Occult minister or false prophets- they may impart evil spirit on you;
(i). Do not support the ministry of ungodly ministers.
The solution to your problem is solely from God through faith, prayer, fasting, and Christian devotion in holiness not by worship of a man of God

Thought for the day: Salvation is in Jesus Christ alone.
Song for the day: There is none like you…Jesus

Bible reading for the day: Genesis 46-48; Matthew 14:22-36

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
