AVOID WALKING BY SIGHT WEDNESDAY JANUARY 17
TEXT: Joshua 9: 3-16
Key Verse: “For we walk by faith and not by sight”
A story was told of an incidence that happened somewhere in America. The story looks beautiful and relevant to the subject matter. Some years ago there was a Nigerian in America that was dealing with Cocaine. The machines and gadgets of the security operatives detected that the man was carrying Cocaine. They would search thoroughly but were unable to discover it. All investigations failed, so they were perplexed yet they could not arrest him because they lacked evidence. So they were confused. What do we do now? A woman came up among them, an agent with the Special Secret Service and said, I will handle that matter. How are you going to handle it? Just watch me. She drew closer to this man and they became boyfriend and girlfriend. The matter went beyond that, they married and became husband and wife. Be careful brother, your desire of going to heaven is too precious, Satan wants to hinder it. He wants to frustrate the precious ministry that God has given unto you. He wants to cut it off and he is making plans for you. So they became husband and wife. First pregnancy came and she gave birth to the first child. Are you going to suspect that woman? She is your wife. Second pregnancy came and she gave birth to the second child. Ah! The man actually gave her tough time that she couldn’t get her result on time, but she was patient.
So when she saw that there was a particular room that this man would enter and lock the door. She had no access to that place, and whatever the man was doing there, she couldn’t know. So she planted camera round the house, including that room. It turned out that the man does some mysterious things in that room, even in his mouth, removing his teeth to fix Cocaine there. So when the man entered there and all his actions were captured on camera and she saw how it was done. Everything was video-taped! Snapped and recorded! Then she called for the authorities. A second Delilah! She now called on her colleagues, “come, I have found the answer”. So when they came the man was denying as usual, they produced the video recording and played this thing before him and showed him the camera. Ah! The man discovered that it was his honey that did it, that exposed him. He said, “Ah! Honey! You?” She said, “Yes it is me”. “You did this to me”? Yes, the marriage was for this purpose”. “What about these two children? If I go to prison who will help you care for these children? “No, they are children of America, the government will take care of them, they are not yours”. That was the end! Please, that is why the Lord is asking you, Do you really want to get to heaven?

Thought for the day: Let not the hunger and thirst for marriage take away eternal life from you
Song for the day: I am married to Jesus, Satan leave me alone

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
