CARE WELL FOR YOUR SPIRIT, SOUL AND BODY MONDAY MAY 1 TEXT: 1 THESSALONIANS 5: 22 – 24 Key verse: “And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.” 1 Thessalonians 5: 23 Now, the three components in a man – the spirit, the soul and the body, should be well cared for and well preserved. Men always pray to God for protection and preservation. Yes, it is the responsibility of God to preserve us blameless to the end, but you must also know that it is a dual responsibility. If we do our own portion well, God will surely do His. It is a covenant. It is an agreement between you and God, concerning the preservation of yourself to the end of your life. God will do His own because He is faithful, because you pray to Him, and others pray for you, but you too must play your own role. It is a dual responsibility. It is the desire of God that we should be spiritually fruitful, holy and healthy. It is the same thing. The prosperity, soundness and wellbeing of the whole man are all vital. It is the desire of God, so desire same for your fellow ones in Christ. Of course, the spirit and the soul form the spiritual man, which we do not see. What we see is the physical body. We cannot touch our spirit or our soul, and very often, the spirit and the soul are joined very tightly together. The Bible says that it is the word of God that can separate between the two, but what we see is the body. So, be careful. Wish your brother his well being. Wish the members of your Church their well being. Paul said, I have not failed to present unto you all that is profitable to you. All that is profitable were made known to you because I desire your well being. I desire your spiritual welfare. I desire your bodily welfare also, that you may prosper in health. We need it, we want you to be healthy in the body. If you are not healthy, how do you carry out the work of God? He said, I pray God, your spirit, soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of the Lord. See how he wishes you to go on to the end, until the Lord comes for you, either at death, or in the rapture, so that you carry your ministry to the end of it. You need preservation for your body, your spirit and your soul. Thought for the day: Desire the soundness of the spirit, the soul and the body. Song for the day: Give me oil in my lamp, keep me burning Bible reading for the day: 1 Kings 1-2; Luke 22:54-71 #horemow.

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
