GOD’S REWARD FOR THE RIGHTEOUS SATURDAY APRIL 22 TEXT: MATHEW 19:27-30 Key Verse: “For God is not unrighteous to forget your works and labour of love, which you have showed toward his name in that you have ministered to the saints and do minister” Hebrews 6:10 God rewards the good deeds done by His righteous children. It will be unrighteousness on the part of God not to reward the works of righteousness done by His righteous and faithful children. Therefore believers should not be weary in well doing, for they shall be rewarded in due time, Galatians 6:7-10. Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith. God rewards the righteous both in this life and in the life to come. In answer to Peter’s inquiry, Jesus said that believers who have forsaken anything (houses, brothers or sisters, father or mother, wife, children or lands) for His name’s sake, shall receive faithfully from God. God is not unrighteous to forget our work and labour of love which we have showed toward His name, in ministering to the saints and attending to the work of the gospel. The believer’s reward is not only in the present blessing material things. There is the reward of eternal life which the Lord has promised to all those who believe in His name, and follow Him faithfully to the end. This should encourage every believer to persevere in the faith and service of Christ unto the end. Even when we die physically in Christ, we will rise up again at the Rapture to live forever with the Lord, Therefore, let us persevere earnestly in the hope of eternal life, heeding the Lord’s warning that many who are first shall be last and the last first. We are to persevere in the truth in righteousness and holiness, and in laboring for the gospel, knowing that God cannot fail. Thought for the day: Thank God my labour is not in vain in the Lord. Song for the day: Until I reach my home (2x), I will never never stop my journey half way…. Bible reading for the day: 2 Samuel 4-6; Luke 18:18-43 #horemow.

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
