RUNNING THE CHRISTIAN RACE TO WIN THE PRIZE TUESDAY APRIL 11 TEXT: 1 CORINTHIANS 9:23- 27 Key verse: “Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain” 1 Corinthians 9: 24 There are many races in this life, but we want to consider here, the heavenly race to the kingdom of God. Paul was running the race to be a partaker of the prize allocated to those who win and obtain eternal life. There must be a clear vision and a defined destination in your heart as you run this race. Without the vision of heaven in the heart, one cannot follow or obey the rules guiding the race. When you run without vision, you stumble. Where there is no definite destination, such a person fights as one beating the air. Therefore, if you must succeed then focus on these things: (a) Run the race with the mind that you will succeed. It is the Father’s good will to give you the kingdom. (b) Take precautions because of possibility of the devil on the way. Always check up to know what others do which you are not doing well. What others have done well before and now they are in heaven. Avoid the mistakes of those that fell by the wayside. (c) Run with the positive mind that you will make heaven. If you fall, rise up again and continue. 1 Corinthians. 9: 24 – 25. (d) Employ Temperance – 1 Corinthians. 9: 25; 2 Timothy 2: 3 -5 Faithfully endure hardship in your walk with God. Philippians 3:7, 13 – 14. Learn to endure. (e) Forbear: Although it is not convenient for you but forbear and you will make it to heaven. (f) Be Humble: Matthew. 18: 4 – Humbleness will enable you to serve even little ones. (g) Be Patience: Proverbs 6: 6 - 9 – Learn from the patience of the ant. (h) Be determined to make it to heaven. 1 Corinthians. 9:26-27. Thought of the day: Do not run your Christian life without a direction or standard. Song of the day: I am running a race to meet my Redeemer. Bible reading for the day: 1 Samuel 7-9; Luke 13:1-21 #horemow.

UNDERSTANDING ETERNITY WEDNESDAY MAY 10 TEXT: Psalm 90: 1 - 2 Key Verse: “The Lord is King forever and ever: the heathen are perished out of his land Psalm 10:16 People that understand eternity are always careful. Eternity means forever and ever, it means ever-lasting, ever-living, never dying. Trillion upon trillion years, eternity is still on, in fact it is life without end. There are two extreme ends of eternity: The kingdom of God called third heaven where God the Father, God the son, God the Holy Ghost, twenty-four elders, saints of God that make heaven, holy angels of God, and entire host of heaven dwell now presently; Hell-fire, where Satan, demons, and sinners that have died in their sins are presently kept. God is the One that introduced eternity. He lives forever. It is not a choice, the One who created us is forever, hence you will live forever, but what matters is where you will live eternally. Remove God from the way, then t...
Every Word Of God For Daily Living For taking your time to study remain blessed July Tuesday 9th TOPIC: WE ARE IN THE TWILIGHT HOUR OF RAPTURE TEXT: Ephesians 5:26-27 KEY VERSE: Hebrews 9:28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation. Seeing the traces of the features of the next dispensation in this present dispensation, you should know that you are in the twilight hour. What is a twilight hour? A twilight hour is that hour of the day that you begin to see the traces of the night while it is still daylight (probably 7:00pm to 7:30pm). It is not completely dark, yet it is not complete bright either. While it is still day, you are seeing the traces of the night. A twilight hour is the hour when you are still in this dispensation but you are already seeing traces of the next. The twilight hour is the time that our Lord Jesus Christ was born and even though He came with the New Test...
