THE PLACE OF PHYSICAL SUBSTANCES IN THE GOSPEL FRIDAY APRIL 14 TEXT: GALATIANS 1: 6-9; 3:1-3 Key Verse: “Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?” Galatians 3:3 Miracles are acts of supernatural occurrences in human existence. They include common and uncommon miracles. Common miracles occur often while uncommon miracles happens once in a life time e.g. Jesus walking on the sea, turning water into wine, handkerchief and apron from the body of the Apostle Paul healed the sick, the shadow of Peter healed the sick, the Spirit of the Lord caught up Philip after baptizing the Ethiopian Eunuch. All these happened within a period of time and never occurred again. The gospel of Christ is the gospel of faith. Take note that the present day miracles of apron, handkerchief, holy water, anointing oil, etc are not from God. The devastating effects of the use of these materials are enormous. They include: (1) This practice shifts the attention of man from God to physical substances. The curse of God rests on these preachers; (2) It prevents the salvation of sinners who turn their faith to material things. This is idolatry; (3) To them, faith can be obtained not on God alone but also physical substances Galatians 3:1-3; (4) The use of these physical materials is a revisit to the “selling of Indulgence” by the Catholic Popes during the dark ages. The promotion of these anointed objects has taken over the place of Jesus; (5) Faith in these physical objects is a recourse to the larger temptation of natural man on earth who always seek to represent God through physical objects. These object prayed upon by the prophets are carefully kept by members; (6) Satan can take advantage of the shipwreck of these men of God 2 Corinthians 2: 11; 11: 13 – 15. Thought of the day: Beware of idolatry Song of the day: Give me the old time religion 3x its good enough for me Bible reading for the day: 1 Samuel 15-16; Luke 14:25-35 #horemow.

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
