For taking your time to study remain blessed LIVING THE LIFE OF CHRIST IN HOLINESS WEDNESDAY APRIL 26 TEXT: LUKE 1: 74 – 78 Key verse: “Because it is written, be ye holy; for I am holy” 1 Peter 1: 16 Beloved, we are living in the world where people believe that nobody is holy, that we are all sinners. Many denominations don’t preach about holiness. But the bible says with God all things are possible. Jesus Christ as a man lived a holy life here on earth. Hebrews 4:15 “For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin”. Jesus Christ not only lived a holy life but also commanded all His disciples to walk as he walked, in holiness and righteous all the days of our lives. Some people misunderstand holiness without knowing that; A person can be a moralist like the rich young ruler but not holy; a person can be a close associate with a man of God like Gehazi yet not holy; A person can be a prophet like Balaam, read and preach the word but not Holy. What then is Holiness? Holiness is living a life that is free from sin when you are born again and sanctified. The Adamic nature is removed and your heart is free from indwelling sin (anger, malice, hatred, bitterness, pride, envy, jealousy, covetousness or lust). And your life is controlled by Jesus; Holiness is having the same mind with God, being in agreement with God at all times. Philippians 2: 5-11; Holiness is to be completely free from every outward sin, such as fighting, fornication/adultery, lying, cheating painting or face or make up, freedom from artificial beauty, freedom from worldliness and worldly pleasure; Holiness is to follow peace by making right all wrongs, doing our restitution. This will make you have a clear conscience toward God and man. Holiness is living a Christian life. To maintain a holy life after God has sanctified you, abide in Christ, constantly set your affection on heavenly things, read and meditate on the word of God every day, submit to God’s correction and chastisement. Pray and trust the Lord continually for the grace to live a holy life, keep off from temptation and practice self denial daily. Though for the day: Are you free from sin? Song for the day: Holiness unto the Lord is our watchword and song. . . Bible reading for the day: 2 Samuel 15-16; Luke 20:27-47 #horemow.

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
