TOPIC: RETURN TO OLD TIME CHRISTIANITY 

TEXT: JOSHUA 1:8 “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success."

KEY VERSE: 1 TIMOTHY 6:12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.

Christianity is dead in many live, fellowships and churches because many have left the Bible. They no more hear from God. That is why God is awakening you and is working to bring you back to scriptures. It is a fight between you and Satan. Lay hold on eternal life and fight this good fight of faith.

Determine to arise and go back to the Father. It is the burden of God because people have left the Bible and prayers, and are Christians by name only. He will help you to rise again because He has called you and will give you grace. There is no spirituality in your life actually. 

Talkative, there is no holiness in your life. You are an empty barrel. Why do you make noise always? They hear your voice here and there. You talk and keep them laughing in this place and in that place. An empty barrel makes the loudest noise. This shows how empty and spiritually bankrupt you are. That is why you are full of noise. 

A man of knowledge holdeth his own tongue. Quietness is a sign of spirituality, indeed to the point that even a fool when he holdeth his tongue shall be esteemed to be a man of wisdom. Quietness is so much attached to dignity in spirituality. It is attached to wisdom. 

Even a fool who does not know the Lord that remains quiet will command respect. But you make noise everywhere. The Holy Spirit has caution you repeatedly but you refused to heed His warnings. Why do you make too much noise? Why do you jest here and there? 

Why do you allow exaggerations to come in? Where is your righteousness? No more discipline in the tongue. If any man seemeth to be religious but does not control his tongue, that man’s religion is useless. No heaven for him because he is corrupt; he has no righteousness and holiness. 

Thought for the day: Christianity died in many churches because they left the Bible.
