TOPIC: BIBLE EVIDENCE OF THE SANCTIFIED LIFE.

TEXT: 1 PETER 1:14-16
14. As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance: 
15. But as He which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;
16. Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy. 

KEY VERSE: 1 THESSALONIANS 2:10
Ye are witnesses, and God also, how holily and justly and unblameably we behaved ourselves among you that believe: 

The following are the evidences of the Sanctified heart:

Personal Evidence: The believer receives inner purging that gives him freedom from carnality. He knows that his inner man has received fullness of righteousness. Blessed are they which hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled.

The witness of the Holy Spirit: God bears witness to what He has done in the lives of His children. When a man is sanctified, the Spirit of God will tell him. The Holy Spirit that bore witness when he got born again will bear witness to his heart cleansing. He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself.

Circumstantial Evidence: You know the infirmities of your heart before the sanctification experience, you know the circumstances of anger, pride and lust. But you now see your spontaneous reactions free from sin. You are no more the angry type. 

You no longer feel deep pain you feel when someone speaks evil of you or attacks you in public or in an evil way. You see peace and calmness in your heart at such provocation that would have burn in you and caused you to react to your guilt and shame due to the heart impurity. 

Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them. Psalm119:165. These godly virtues of Love, joy, peace, patience, goodness and kindness which begin at salvation get more strengthened and deepened at sanctification, giving you a better sense of victory over sin within.

Divine Testimony: In Bible times as well as in our time, God attests to the holiness of His children. Noah in Genesis 6:9, 7:1 and Job in Job 1:8. I, Pastor Paul Rika, have enjoyed heart sanctification and live daily in God’s holiness. The Lord Jesus has through various ways and people spoken to affirm my righteousness and holiness
