The Beauty Of Planning

Wednesday 29th April

Text: Luke 14:28-32
Key Verse: Prepare thy work without, and make it fit for thyself in the field; and afterward build thine house. Proverbs 24:27
A plan is a set of intended actions, having the same relationship, through which one expects to achieve a goal. Planning gives the planner a clearer view and understanding of what it takes to achieve his goal; how to achieve it and when to achieve it. Creation of the earth is an expression of a beautiful plan by the only wise God. In divine plan, in order to have Night and Day, He first created darkness and light. He called the darkness ‘Night’ and the light ‘Day’. God created grasses, herbs and trees after He created the earth from where they will grow. In the same way, God created water before He created fishes. The beauty of planning!
He that fails to plan has planned to fail; he has signed for the degrading average life. Good farmers plan ahead for a new planting season. He preserves the best of the seeds out of the harvest of the current year against the next planting season. With this, when the new planting season comes, he won’t be running helter-skelter to look for seeds for planting. Organize your life through planning. A good businessman or woman sets goals for the business and plans towards achieving the goals. It is good preparation, the twin brother of planning, that makes a student say, “The exam was simpler than I thought.” The same exam will record failures of other students.
Heaven and earth are God’s masterpieces. They came out of God’s plan. The works of your hands can become a masterpiece if you will sit down to plan with God and execute your plan. Our text advises you to sit down and count the cost of the step you are about to take, to know whether you are capable of achieving your goal or not. This will help you escape unnecessary ridicule and mockery of man. Christ-centred homes are planned for. Going to heaven requires planning (Amos 4:12). God will give you speedy accomplishment as you plan your life with Him, in Jesus’ name.

Thought For The Day: The better your plan, the faster your achievement.

Song For The Day: Beautiful and it’s bright I must get there.

Bible reading for the day: 1 Chronicles 3-4

For taking your time to study remain blessed. UNDERSTANDING ETERNITY WEDNESDAY MAY 10 TEXT: Psalm 90: 1 - 2 Key Verse: “The Lord is King forever and ever: the heathen are perished out of his land Psalm 10:16 People that understand eternity are always careful. Eternity means forever and ever, it means ever-lasting, ever-living, never dying. Trillion upon trillion years, eternity is still on, in fact it is life without end. There are two extreme ends of eternity: The kingdom of God called third heaven where God the Father, God the son, God the Holy Ghost, twenty-four elders, saints of God that make heaven, holy angels of God, and entire host of heaven dwell now presently; Hell-fire, where Satan, demons, and sinners that have died in their sins are presently kept. God is the One that introduced eternity. He lives forever. It is not a choice, the One who created us is forever, hence you will live forever, but what matters is where you will live eternally. Remove God from the way, then t...

Every Word Of God For Daily Living For taking your time to study remain blessed July Tuesday 9th TOPIC: WE ARE IN THE TWILIGHT HOUR OF RAPTURE TEXT: Ephesians 5:26-27 KEY VERSE: Hebrews 9:28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation. Seeing the traces of the features of the next dispensation in this present dispensation, you should know that you are in the twilight hour. What is a twilight hour? A twilight hour is that hour of the day that you begin to see the traces of the night while it is still daylight (probably 7:00pm to 7:30pm). It is not completely dark, yet it is not complete bright either. While it is still day, you are seeing the traces of the night. A twilight hour is the hour when you are still in this dispensation but you are already seeing traces of the next. The twilight hour is the time that our Lord Jesus Christ was born and even though He came with the New Test...
