Now That You Have Repented, Your Case Shall Be Different

Tuesday 21st April 

Text: 2 Kings 22: 11-20
Key Verse: 2 Chronicles 33:6 “And he caused his children to pass through the fire in the valley of the son of Hinnom: also he observed times, and used enchantments, and used witchcraft, and dealt with a familiar spirit, and with wizards: he wrought much evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger.” 
The situation in Israel was so deteriorated to the level that there was no perfect knowledge of God, and sin took over the whole place. A book of the law was hidden by the kings before; may be due to their backsliding. The book was found in the time of King Josiah, and they read it before him. When he heard the content, he rent his clothes because his eyes were opened to the imminent judgment of God. It is like one being born again without sanctification and now hearing the doctrine clearly in the holiness church. Who knows that we should not wear earrings, a man of God should not put on cap on his head? Our denominational Church’s bishops do not know this and are heading to hell. The knowledge of God’s teaching about women not wearing attachments, jewelleries, and trousers are hidden from them. The teaching on holy living has been replaced with prosperity messages.
Josiah sent to Huldah, the prophetess to confirm the things that were in the book of the Law of God. She told them that God would surely fulfil all that He said in the book. The king saw that judgment was determined against the land because of the evils of their fathers: Any man wearing chains, having two wives will not make it to heaven. Any bishop that is seen wearing cap will not go to heaven, any woman preacher wearing trousers, attachments, weave on etc., shall never go to heaven. False certificate, Yahoo, cult, instrument of witchcraft, tattoo etc., must be cleared off, to show you that have repented. The Prophetess sent to Josiah that, “Because you have repented, your case shall be different.” Go and tell them, Overseers and chapter coordinators have roles to play in this revival. Those not willing to change should be stopped from the unit and chapter meetings so that they will not pollute others.
