Focus On God In Your Praise, Thanksgiving And Worship

Thursday 19th February

Text: Psalm 47:6, 7
Key Verse: Psalm 7:17 I will praise the LORD according to His righteousness: and will sing praise to the name of the LORD Most High.
We must sing praises with understanding. We are to sing praises to God, give thanks and worship to Him with understanding. This makes the praise and worship of God to be meaningful and pleasant. It makes our praise, thanksgiving and worship a sacrifice of sweet-smelling savour, acceptable by God. Praising and worshipping God with understanding entails that:
 1. We know Who we praise, thank and worship.
2. We know why we praise, thank and worship Him.
3. We know what we praise, thank and worship Him for.
4. We know how to praise, thank and worship Him.
5. We know where to praise, thank and worship Him.
6. We know when to praise, thank and worship Him.
7. We know with whom to praise, thank and worship Him.
This is worshipping God with understanding. God is the Person we praise, thank and worship. He is the Person of universal praise. He is the Creator who made all things for His glory and praise. He ordained praise, thanksgiving and worship of Himself as the duty of men and angels. He redeemed fallen man from sin for His praise and worship. He inhabits the praise and worship of His saints. Praise and worship of God is praise and worship of the three personalities in the Godhead: the Father, the Son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. The three are the One God, One Lord, One King, One Jehovah, angels and saints in heaven and the saints on earth praise and worship.

Thought For The Day:  Let your praise and worship of God be meaningful.

Song For The Day: Praise Him, praise Him, Jesus our blessed Redeemer.

For taking your time to study remain blessed. UNDERSTANDING ETERNITY WEDNESDAY MAY 10 TEXT: Psalm 90: 1 - 2 Key Verse: “The Lord is King forever and ever: the heathen are perished out of his land Psalm 10:16 People that understand eternity are always careful. Eternity means forever and ever, it means ever-lasting, ever-living, never dying. Trillion upon trillion years, eternity is still on, in fact it is life without end. There are two extreme ends of eternity: The kingdom of God called third heaven where God the Father, God the son, God the Holy Ghost, twenty-four elders, saints of God that make heaven, holy angels of God, and entire host of heaven dwell now presently; Hell-fire, where Satan, demons, and sinners that have died in their sins are presently kept. God is the One that introduced eternity. He lives forever. It is not a choice, the One who created us is forever, hence you will live forever, but what matters is where you will live eternally. Remove God from the way, then t...

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

The Testimony Of Jesus Is Spirit Of Prophecy.

God's blessings will continually accompany you for dedicating time to your studies. The Testimony Of Jesus Is Spirit Of Prophecy.  Monday 10th November  Text: Jude 1: 2-5 Key verse: Jude 1: 3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. The faith of Jesus has already been delivered and it is written in the scriptures. Whatever prophecies, revelations or dreams that comes must not be contrary to the standard in the scripture. They must speak the same thing. The testimony of Jesus is spirit of prophecy. Every prophecy or revelation must honour Jesus and must be according to the written word. Even where they are new things, they must not contradict because the Bible is a summary of the things Jesus did. The Bible cannot contain all things. It must be according to what the scripture has already signified, ...
