Be Careful With Life: As You Lay Your Bed, So You Lie On It

Monday 2nd January

Text: Romans 2:6-10
Key Verse: Deuteronomy 30:19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live.
How you handle the word of God shapes your future. It is the key of your life. Jesus and His word are one and the same. In the word is life, strength, power, hope and eternal life. John 1:1-4 1 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made. 4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.”
He who uses the key well gets the best, but he who refuses to use the key well suffers the consequences. God stands very close by to make His grace sufficient for you and encourage you in Christian establishment, spiritual progress and eternity with Himself. He is standing by to encourage you, to give you grace if you dare to stand. Can you see very clearly here what the LORD is saying in the key verse? “I call Heaven and earth to record this day.” He has given you the means of salvation, the men of salvation and has also shown clearly to you the manner of the Christian life you should live. and has now put the key in your hand. That is freedom of choice. He has made everything available to make you complete and useful, and has given the key to you. He called heaven and earth to record this day against you that He has set before you, life and good, death and evil. And now He stands by to encourage you, saying, “Choose life that you and your children may live.” The key is your power of choice, the exercise of your free will. You are a free moral agent, so God has provided everything and said you are to exercise your willpower, to make good use of it. He will never force you. The doors are before you to open. The future greatness and glory have been shown to you. He has given you wonderful promises to claim. God has told you what He can do for you, but the choice is yours.

Thought For The Day:  God will not force anybody into heaven.

Song For The Day: Guide me, O thou great Jehovah, pilgrim through this barren land.

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

The local church should teach and train her members on scriptural fasting. Believers need to know that the Lord expects...

The Testimony Of Jesus Is Spirit Of Prophecy.

God's blessings will continually accompany you for dedicating time to your studies. The Testimony Of Jesus Is Spirit Of Prophecy.  Monday 10th November  Text: Jude 1: 2-5 Key verse: Jude 1: 3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. The faith of Jesus has already been delivered and it is written in the scriptures. Whatever prophecies, revelations or dreams that comes must not be contrary to the standard in the scripture. They must speak the same thing. The testimony of Jesus is spirit of prophecy. Every prophecy or revelation must honour Jesus and must be according to the written word. Even where they are new things, they must not contradict because the Bible is a summary of the things Jesus did. The Bible cannot contain all things. It must be according to what the scripture has already signified, ...
