Cross Bearing In Christianity

Friday 20th February

Text: Matthew 16 :24-26.
Key Verse: And he said to them all, "If any man will come after me let him deny himself and take up his cross daily, and follow me. Luke 9:23."
Cross bearing means, willingly surrendering personal desires, interests, and priorities to follow Jesus Christ. Moreover, it is suffering for Christ, enduring hardships, persecutions or challenges for the sake of one's faith in Jesus, embracing the path of sacrifice and humility which was demonstrated by our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, through His crucifixion. Apostle Paul exemplified it, saying, "But what things were gain to me, those l counted loss for Christ. Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom l have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ." Furthermore, he said, "I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live, yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave Himself for me."
Cross bearing has high cost of discipleship, in following Jesus Christ which requires sacrifice and commitment. Enduring hardship for your faith in Jesus Christ. Again, self-denial, prioritize God's will over personal desires, embrace challenges and hardships as they come your way, which can lead to spiritual maturity and deeper relationship with God, with life of obedience and devotion to Christ. Our Lord Jesus Christ is the ultimate example of cross bearing. He gave His life on the cross for the salvation of humanity demonstrating the depth of God's love and sacrifice.
"Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endure the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God." Stephen was stoned to death by the enemies of the gospel of Jesus Christ, "And cast him of the city, and stoned him: and the witnesses laid down their clothes at a young man's feet, whose name was Saul." Acts 7:58.

For taking your time to study remain blessed. UNDERSTANDING ETERNITY WEDNESDAY MAY 10 TEXT: Psalm 90: 1 - 2 Key Verse: “The Lord is King forever and ever: the heathen are perished out of his land Psalm 10:16 People that understand eternity are always careful. Eternity means forever and ever, it means ever-lasting, ever-living, never dying. Trillion upon trillion years, eternity is still on, in fact it is life without end. There are two extreme ends of eternity: The kingdom of God called third heaven where God the Father, God the son, God the Holy Ghost, twenty-four elders, saints of God that make heaven, holy angels of God, and entire host of heaven dwell now presently; Hell-fire, where Satan, demons, and sinners that have died in their sins are presently kept. God is the One that introduced eternity. He lives forever. It is not a choice, the One who created us is forever, hence you will live forever, but what matters is where you will live eternally. Remove God from the way, then t...

Every Word Of God For Daily Living For taking your time to study remain blessed July Tuesday 9th TOPIC: WE ARE IN THE TWILIGHT HOUR OF RAPTURE TEXT: Ephesians 5:26-27 KEY VERSE: Hebrews 9:28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation. Seeing the traces of the features of the next dispensation in this present dispensation, you should know that you are in the twilight hour. What is a twilight hour? A twilight hour is that hour of the day that you begin to see the traces of the night while it is still daylight (probably 7:00pm to 7:30pm). It is not completely dark, yet it is not complete bright either. While it is still day, you are seeing the traces of the night. A twilight hour is the hour when you are still in this dispensation but you are already seeing traces of the next. The twilight hour is the time that our Lord Jesus Christ was born and even though He came with the New Test...
