Baptism In The Holy Ghost Is Evidenced With Speaking In Tongues

Thursday 5th February

Text: Acts 2: 1-4
Key Verse: Acts 2:4 “And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to with tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance”
The Bible tells us, it is the mind and desire of God, that all who have believed in Christ Jesus should be baptised with the Holy Ghost. All true children of God have the Spirit of Christ in them, which is the Holy Spirit. But for the purpose of Christian service and speaking in tongues, God promises every believer baptism with the Holy Spirit. This experience gives the believer higher power for Christian service. (Luke 24:49). The believer baptised with the Spirit speaks in tongues by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit as evidence that he has received the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Speaking in tongues is God's divine provision for the believer to strengthen and increase his prayer power.
Ask God earnestly for baptism with the Holy Spirit. Ask importunately until you notice yourself speaking in tongues by the inspiration of the Holy Ghost. Note this, because of the presence of the Holy Spirit in the believer, and because of the power of the word of God and the power of the name of Jesus, the believer who is not yet baptised with the Holy Spirit, still has some measure of divine power, and can attain to holiness and heaven. Some ignorant preachers want to tell you, “You are not baptised with the Holy Ghost, so, you are not a Christian.” That is not true. What makes a man born again? How can a person be a Christian without the Holy Spirit in him? What makes him a Christian then? The Bible says it is by the Holy Spirit. The word of God stands for the water. Born of water talks of the use of the word of God by the Holy Spirit, the principal Agent of salvation to work out a new life in a sinner, so that he becomes righteous. A believer has the Spirit of God in him already. Romans 8:9, “But ye are not in the flesh but in the Spirit. If so be that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you. Now, if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of His”

For taking your time to study remain blessed. UNDERSTANDING ETERNITY WEDNESDAY MAY 10 TEXT: Psalm 90: 1 - 2 Key Verse: “The Lord is King forever and ever: the heathen are perished out of his land Psalm 10:16 People that understand eternity are always careful. Eternity means forever and ever, it means ever-lasting, ever-living, never dying. Trillion upon trillion years, eternity is still on, in fact it is life without end. There are two extreme ends of eternity: The kingdom of God called third heaven where God the Father, God the son, God the Holy Ghost, twenty-four elders, saints of God that make heaven, holy angels of God, and entire host of heaven dwell now presently; Hell-fire, where Satan, demons, and sinners that have died in their sins are presently kept. God is the One that introduced eternity. He lives forever. It is not a choice, the One who created us is forever, hence you will live forever, but what matters is where you will live eternally. Remove God from the way, then t...

Every Word Of God For Daily Living For taking your time to study remain blessed July Tuesday 9th TOPIC: WE ARE IN THE TWILIGHT HOUR OF RAPTURE TEXT: Ephesians 5:26-27 KEY VERSE: Hebrews 9:28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation. Seeing the traces of the features of the next dispensation in this present dispensation, you should know that you are in the twilight hour. What is a twilight hour? A twilight hour is that hour of the day that you begin to see the traces of the night while it is still daylight (probably 7:00pm to 7:30pm). It is not completely dark, yet it is not complete bright either. While it is still day, you are seeing the traces of the night. A twilight hour is the hour when you are still in this dispensation but you are already seeing traces of the next. The twilight hour is the time that our Lord Jesus Christ was born and even though He came with the New Test...
