Do Not Remove The Ancient Landmarks
Tuesday 3rd February
Text: Romans 1:24-26
Key Verse: Proverb 22:28 “Remove not the ancient landmark, which thy fathers have set”
Question: Someone with body odour, knowing it is wrong to use perfume, went to the hospital, and the doctor recommended the use of perfume. What is your advice, sir?
Answer: Will the body odour stop if he uses perfume? No. If your hair has fallen and the doctor recommends the use of weave-on or wigs, will you comply? No. Some say that doctors recommend whisky for them, while others say doctors recommend sex for them for back pain. What a great confusion to the word of God and the house of God. If you put the weave-on and people see you doing so, will they know that it is the doctor who recommended it? If you wear a smell because doctors recommended perfume, will you be carrying the doctor’s recommendation about? Find other ways; thorough bathing and continuous prayer to overcome it. This may be so in one out of a thousand. We will not use a peculiar case to generalise the use of abominable things. So, use some natural ways. Some women who have tough hair use natural means and prayer to get the matter settled.
Question: I saw women wearing Polo T-shirts. I have been praying, and my spirit is convincing me not to buy it. I became troubled. If I buy it, is it against the will of God? If they bring it to my church, should I wear it as a child of God?
Answer: Now, when your spirit was telling you not to buy it, did your spirit give you a reason? I want to hear what your spirit told you, so I can tell you the answer
Comment by the questioner: My spirit said if I buy it, it will be tight for me.
Answer: I advise you to do what your spirit has said. Since the Spirit of God told you it will be tight on your body and it is not decent for a Christian like you, do what your spirit has said.
