Timothy An Example In Scriptural Character Molding

Tuesday 17th February

Text: 2 Timothy 3:15-17
Key Verse: Let no man despise thy youth: but be thou an example of believers in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in Forth, in purity. 1 Timothy 4: 12
The 'Man of God' referred to in verse 16 of our text is not all about age but faith and holiness. Timothy was a young man of God. Being a youth, Paul charged him, "Let no man despise your youth.” He showed that a man of God through the Scriptures can be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. One of the prominent persons that worked with Apostle Paul was Timothy, and he was a youth.
When it comes to Christianity, youths are not be despised. Goliath made that mistake on David and lost his life. When it comes to Christian service, youths are not to be despised. The glory of the youth is his strength. Therefore, let no man however old he is, despise your youth. You too must not despise yourself and underrate what you can do for Jesus. You can do great things for Jesus. God has chosen you. Paul got a youth as a co-minister with him, worked together and established many churches. There was increase in the churches of Christ. Timothy was a disciple, the son of a Jewess that believed the gospel of Jesus. Not all the Jews believed, but she believed though his father was a Greek. Concerning Timothy's life, he was well reported by the brethren at Lystra and Iconium. People that saw him knew that he was a true Christian. The people in that environment recommended him to Paul because they saw that he was fit to go with him for ministry.
Our Christianity must not be by words alone or by our appearance or service but by our character built up by the Scriptures. It is high time we worked on ourselves, looking inward and taking ourselves to God to mold us and shapen us into His image. Many Christians have disappointed God enough, but the true Christians must arise and shine the true light of the gospel: the gospel of true holiness and righteousness which reflects the true nature of God

For taking your time to study remain blessed. UNDERSTANDING ETERNITY WEDNESDAY MAY 10 TEXT: Psalm 90: 1 - 2 Key Verse: “The Lord is King forever and ever: the heathen are perished out of his land Psalm 10:16 People that understand eternity are always careful. Eternity means forever and ever, it means ever-lasting, ever-living, never dying. Trillion upon trillion years, eternity is still on, in fact it is life without end. There are two extreme ends of eternity: The kingdom of God called third heaven where God the Father, God the son, God the Holy Ghost, twenty-four elders, saints of God that make heaven, holy angels of God, and entire host of heaven dwell now presently; Hell-fire, where Satan, demons, and sinners that have died in their sins are presently kept. God is the One that introduced eternity. He lives forever. It is not a choice, the One who created us is forever, hence you will live forever, but what matters is where you will live eternally. Remove God from the way, then t...

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

The Testimony Of Jesus Is Spirit Of Prophecy.

God's blessings will continually accompany you for dedicating time to your studies. The Testimony Of Jesus Is Spirit Of Prophecy.  Monday 10th November  Text: Jude 1: 2-5 Key verse: Jude 1: 3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. The faith of Jesus has already been delivered and it is written in the scriptures. Whatever prophecies, revelations or dreams that comes must not be contrary to the standard in the scripture. They must speak the same thing. The testimony of Jesus is spirit of prophecy. Every prophecy or revelation must honour Jesus and must be according to the written word. Even where they are new things, they must not contradict because the Bible is a summary of the things Jesus did. The Bible cannot contain all things. It must be according to what the scripture has already signified, ...
