The Lord Has Advertised Pastor Paul Rika To The World (Part 1)
Tuesday 24th February
Text: Job 1: 6-8
Key Verse: Job 2: 3 And the Lord said unto Satan, Hast thou considered My servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? and still he holdeth fast his integrity, although thou movedst Me against him, to destroy him without cause.
Today’s devotional study is an excerpt from revelation of angelic visitation narrated by Sister Linda: The angels continued. “The Lord has advertised you to the world, Paul. Do not be ashamed of the gospel nor of the open attacks that Satan is raising up publicly against you. The Lord has told the world already about you. Remember that last December, He said, “These people came late. I have already advertised you to the world.”
When the Lord advertised Job, Satan said, “That man has not been tried.” God said, “Okay, go and try him.” Satan went and tried Job. When God asked Satan again, “Have you considered My servant Job? You moved Me against him, yet he retains his integrity and holds fast to his righteousness despite your attacks.” That is advertisement! So, Satan is being employed to work out the glory of the Lord.
To show how much light shines gloriously, darkness has to be employed. In that way, these evil people are doing something, and God is still watching them. We see that He has not stricken any of them down yet, for a purpose. By what they do, the world is watching Pastor Paul Rika. How shall he react? How shall he do it? What abuses shall he be rendering? What wicked device will he be planning against these people? Okay what about his preaching? Shall his preaching change? The world is watching, but Pastor Paul Rika remains the same in attitude, mannerism, love, smiles and gentleness. Praise the Lord! Nothing disturbs his heart; no bitterness against any one of them, old or young in the field of wickedness. This is what God wants to achieve. Jesus gave this reason for the trial that He allowed to come to His servant.
Thought For The Day: The world is watching but Pastor Paul Rika remains the same.
