Use Of Physical Objects For Miracles Destroys Faith In God

Text: 2 Chronicles 25: 14 – 16

Friday April 12th

Key verse: 2 Chronicles 25:2 “And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, but not with a perfect heart.”
The use of physical substances for miracles destroys faith in the spiritual, for we walk by faith and not by sight. Aprons and handkerchiefs were taken from Paul but not from Peter or John. Not even from Jesus during His earthly ministry. The Holy Ghost manifested this in Paul’s ministry for a period to cause people to believe in Christ. That was all; it did not repeat the second time. Now if this is so, was Timothy who walked closely with Paul as a son to him distributing handkerchiefs or aprons? No, because he will not turn that unique manifestation to become the normal way of receiving miracles.
Ministers today use handkerchiefs and aprons and are tell their members that it will do miracles. Where did they get that teaching? From one witness thou shalt not establish a matter, from the mouth of two or three witnesses. Apart from Paul who again used handkerchief and apron that you now stand upon it as a rule. Why don’t you also gather your members before the sea and say members we are crossing this sea. I am going to tell God to divide it. Why not do that if it is a normal thing?  The devil motivated that, not the spirit of Christ because that is not the normal way. “He that enters not through the door but cometh the other way into the house, the same is a thief and a robber.” The sheep will never hear him; he is a thief and a robber.
So, those that promote and distribute anointed handkerchiefs and aprons, do not do so by the Spirit of God because they don’t have the Bible as their authority. But these handkerchiefs and aprons work miracles? They can work miracles because it is not only God that works miracles. When God sent Moses to Egypt and told him to throw down his rod to become a serpent, there were people in Egypt that also threw their rods down and they became serpents. So, the fact that these aprons and handkerchiefs work miracles does not mean that they are from God. It depends on which spirit works the miracles. If it is of Christ, it should be based on scripture.

Thought for the day: Gospel miracles should be based on scriptures

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. FACTS TO BE UNDERSTOOD ON REVELATION MESSAGES WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11 TEXT: NUMBERS 12: 4-8. Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
