Seek Righteousness And Holiness Above Miracles And Prosperity

Text: Acts 16: 16 – 19

Tuesday April 9th

Key verse: Matthew 23:28 “Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity”
Jesus pronounced woe upon the Scribes and Pharisees who compass land and sea to make a convert and make that convert twice the son of hell. These people you are going to will make you twice a daughter of hell. They will make you twice a son of hell than themselves. They are prepared for you since you are not looking for righteousness. All you need is miracle. You are not looking for righteousness nor for how to please God. You are looking for how to please yourself; how to get healing, how to get this and that. There is no such place for you in the church because you do not love God, you are not following God, you are not looking for Him. All you are looking for is miracle and if there is no miracle there, you are leaving.
When you come to a church and say, ‘Does your pastor see?’ A minister said that a woman entered his office and asked him, “Pastor, do you see?” He replied, “I saw you coming in and I offered you a chair to sit down yet you are asking if I can see?” This must have another meaning. She was looking for satanic gift. We do not have it in HOREMOW. If you are looking for anointing; ‘Let pastor lay hand on me and pray that power will come but you are married to two wives, we do not have that in Holiness Revival Movement. If you are not seeking for righteousness, there is no place for you. You need to repent and receive the righteousness of God.
Qualify yourself so that the Lord may recognize your service in the church. A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth good fruit; righteousness in your heart, not just in your lips. Practice righteousness in your heart. Dedicate your heart to God for righteousness. Pray in the doctrines of truth into your heart. Make sure this gospel is passed to the right people and that they pass it forward.

Thought for the day: Qualify yourself so that the Lord may recognize your service.

Song for the day: Create in me a clean heart, O Lord …

Bible reading for the day: 1 Kings 1-2

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. FACTS TO BE UNDERSTOOD ON REVELATION MESSAGES WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11 TEXT: NUMBERS 12: 4-8. Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
