Satan Tried To Stop Me From Working For God In HOREMOW

Text:  1 Thessalonians 2:17-20

Wednesday March 13th

Key verse: James 4:7 “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.”
My name is Samuel Reuben. I was recommended to Daddy Paul Rika for employment as a driver but Satan fought to stop me. I learnt that the Movement was set to buy a truck so I volunteered to get a good one. God helped me to get a truck at a cheap price but my motor boy lied that I had added money for myself. Thank God that Daddy Paul Rika investigated the report and employed me on probation. Later, the boy repented and did restitution. God helped me to forgive him. A week after I started work, a Senator I had worked for asked me to see him. When I got there, his wife asked me to drive her to the market. When we came back, the Senator asked his wife, “How was his driving?” She replied that I drove very well. I did not know that I had just done a driving test for a job.
He then said, “You have just resumed work as my family driver. You shall stay in the boy’s quarters and eat free of charge along with other benefits.” I said, “Sorry sir, I just started work as a church driver.” He replied, “I am offering you a job with fat salary, free accommodation and feeding and you are talking of driving for a church? How much will they pay you? Speak and I will multiply it!” I answered, “Sir it is not about the money but I am glad to work for God although I do not how much I will be paid.” He laughed, “How can you accept a job without knowing how much you will be paid?” I said, “Sir, this one is not just a church. It is the Movement that Jesus founded Himself.” He asked, “What do you mean by that? What is the name of the church and the pastor?” I said, “My pastor is Pastor Paul Rika and the church is Holiness Revival Movement Worldwide.” He was very disappointed but said, “Well, go and think over it.” I left his house and never went back for that job.

Thought for the day:  It pays to serve Jesus

Song for the day: I love my Jesus, my Jesus loves me …

Bible reading for the day: Judges 1-3

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

The local church should teach and train her members on scriptural fasting. Believers need to know that the Lord expects...

The Testimony Of Jesus Is Spirit Of Prophecy.

God's blessings will continually accompany you for dedicating time to your studies. The Testimony Of Jesus Is Spirit Of Prophecy.  Monday 10th November  Text: Jude 1: 2-5 Key verse: Jude 1: 3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. The faith of Jesus has already been delivered and it is written in the scriptures. Whatever prophecies, revelations or dreams that comes must not be contrary to the standard in the scripture. They must speak the same thing. The testimony of Jesus is spirit of prophecy. Every prophecy or revelation must honour Jesus and must be according to the written word. Even where they are new things, they must not contradict because the Bible is a summary of the things Jesus did. The Bible cannot contain all things. It must be according to what the scripture has already signified, ...
