Repentance From Sin Must Be Genuine And Complete

Thursday March 28th

Text: Acts 2: 36 - 41
Key verse: John 1:16 “And of his fullness have we all received and grace for grace.”
Repent from sin because sin is evil against God. Repentance towards God is required because you have done evil against God and you want to stop it. Not hypocritical repentance because if you know God is angry with you for doing those things, you will not try it again. However, for those that have repented, you will discover that it is not by your power. You need to be helped, hence the necessity of faith towards our Lord Jesus Christ. Look to Me and be ye saved all the ends of the earth, for I am God, besides Me there is no Savior. God commanded Moses to make a serpent of brass and raise it up on a pole that whosoever looks on it shall be delivered from the poison of the serpent. As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness even so must the Son of man be lifted up, that whosoever believeth on Him should not perish but have eternal life. Look to Jesus, the poison of sin will die and the power of sin will be broken in your life. You will be set free and demons will clear out of your life because whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. If you have done this and sin is still in your life, then seek for help and prayer. Let the authority of the church pray for you. You have been hiding yourself for all these years and have become one of the leaders in the church but sin is still in your life.
Maybe you noticed witchcraft in your life when you were growing up. As you came into the church where the presence of God is, you did not confess your witchcraft; to meet the men of God there to pray for you and deliver you from the spirit of witchcraft. You have now become a big person in the church but still in witchcraft. The power of God can break sin out of your life. Confess your sin for if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive all our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. The Lord has revealed this sin but you say, “Never! I do not know about it.” You will know hell because you have refused the truth that you might be saved. To remain like that in the church and think you are a Christian is deception.

Thought for the day: Repentance must be practiced before sins are forgiven.

Song for the day: Wash me O Lamb of God

Bible reading for the day: 1 Samuel 19-21

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

The local church should teach and train her members on scriptural fasting. Believers need to know that the Lord expects...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. UNDERSTANDING ETERNITY WEDNESDAY MAY 10 TEXT: Psalm 90: 1 - 2 Key Verse: “The Lord is King forever and ever: the heathen are perished out of his land Psalm 10:16 People that understand eternity are always careful. Eternity means forever and ever, it means ever-lasting, ever-living, never dying. Trillion upon trillion years, eternity is still on, in fact it is life without end. There are two extreme ends of eternity: The kingdom of God called third heaven where God the Father, God the son, God the Holy Ghost, twenty-four elders, saints of God that make heaven, holy angels of God, and entire host of heaven dwell now presently; Hell-fire, where Satan, demons, and sinners that have died in their sins are presently kept. God is the One that introduced eternity. He lives forever. It is not a choice, the One who created us is forever, hence you will live forever, but what matters is where you will live eternally. Remove God from the way, then t...
