Clarifications On Occurrence Of Rare Miracles

Thursday, March 21st

Text: Proverbs 1: 2 - 7
Key verse: Proverbs 4:2 “For I give you good doctrine, forsake ye not my law.”
Put your faith in God, not in aprons and handkerchiefs. There are unique miracles of God that He does not continue with and you do not ask Him to repeat them because He chooses to do them by Himself. He chooses to release those miracles and they may happen once in a generation. He revealed His will in them. He caused the Red Sea to dry up. Will you keep asking the Red Sea to part? No. God has not promised to part rivers for you, such that when you want to cross the river you ask God to divide it for you. It is unique; it was done by Moses, Joshua, Elijah and Elisha. That ended the issue of the sea parting. So, do not seek to repeat it; instead of looking for a way to cross the river, you then say that God should divide it.
You will pray there until you perish because He has not given you that promise. When Satan told Jesus, “Jump down from this mountain if you are the son of God, for God has said He will give His angels charge over you, that they will bare you with their hands that you do not dash your foot against the stone.” Jesus said, “It is written, thou shall not tempt the Lord your God. The Lord told Moses to smite the rock for water to come out. Later God said, “Smite the rock and water shall come out.” Does the rock produce water for the church now? Have you heard that the church of Christ gathered together in a great congregation, their water finished, and they went and spoke to the rock and water came out? No.
These are things that happen in God’s sovereignty; they are not the natural paths He has provided for normal livelihood. There are promises for your normal life and godliness that God has provided but not for these other rare manifestations of power that happen at His discretion. Joshua commanded the sun to stand still and it happened once but by the impartation of the faith of the Holy Ghost in him. Again, Uzziah requested that the sun move back ten degrees when the Lord asked, “Do I turn the sun backwards or forward?” God gave me that option. Nobody should say “God I am going on a journey but it is getting late. Oh God, please stay the sun for me.”

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. January Saturday 18th TOPIC: HOW TO ATTAIN BIBLE HOLINESS TEXT: Romans 6:20-23 KEY VERSE: Romans 6:22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. Besides the essential knowledge of the holy life of a Christian, it is good to understand the manner and process of becoming holy before God. Holiness of life is a life that has overcome sin through the saving power of Jesus Christ. Romans 6:22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. It is a life that does not commit sin. 1John 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for His seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. Getting this experience requires four things: 1. Know that apart from holiness, there is no alternative lifestyle for heaven. Hebrews 12:14 Follow peace with all men, and holin...
