Maintain A Closer Walk With Jesus

Saturday, March 16th

Text: John 12:20-21
Key verse: John 12:32 “And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.”
How can you see more excellency of Jesus when He is not constantly in your mind? You say you are married to Jesus but there are distances between you. You are a child of God but there are distances between you and God. You begin to try to view who this Jesus is. Like the woman whose husband has gone to America for years, so the wife is working hard, O this man, how does he look like? Whenever he is laughing how does he appear? Because time has disfigured that man before that woman. She cannot actually think very well. That’s how it is. You are serving Jesus unconsciously. Good, you are serving Him, but He wants you to serve Him knowingly. Serve Jesus with understanding. Be with Him now. Walk with Him. Stay with Him, that when you walk or sit, you walk or sit with Jesus. All you do shall be with Jesus. That is how He wants it in your life. That consciousness is what Jesus is looking for because He will give you the energy to live.
Ministers must constantly remind their congregations of the Lord, Savior, and Shepherd of the church. That it is Jesus they serve. That Jesus is the Shepherd of the church. He is the Lord; personal, active, and present Lord. We stand in awe of Jesus; in total surrender, great honor and worship of Jesus. We must remind ourselves that we preach and sing for Jesus. Do you preach or sing without knowing for whom you preach or sing? Do you preach for pleasure? Come back to your right mind and inform yourself that, ‘I preach to honor Jesus; to reveal and exalt Him.’ It is Jesus that has made me a preacher and given me this privilege of preaching. This we must do so that the faith of the people must be steady on Him and their hearts and minds will be in constant worship and praise of His glory and power. Come to Him in active possession and complete contact with Him.

Thought for the day: Awaken to the realization of Jesus.

Song for the day: Jesus in the morning, Jesus … Jesus when the sun goes down

Bible reading for the day: Judges 9-10

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. January Saturday 18th TOPIC: HOW TO ATTAIN BIBLE HOLINESS TEXT: Romans 6:20-23 KEY VERSE: Romans 6:22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. Besides the essential knowledge of the holy life of a Christian, it is good to understand the manner and process of becoming holy before God. Holiness of life is a life that has overcome sin through the saving power of Jesus Christ. Romans 6:22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. It is a life that does not commit sin. 1John 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for His seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. Getting this experience requires four things: 1. Know that apart from holiness, there is no alternative lifestyle for heaven. Hebrews 12:14 Follow peace with all men, and holin...
