Holiness Gives Assurance Of Answers To Prayers

Friday March 8th

Text: Psalm 66: 16 - 20
Key verse: Psalm 66: 18 “If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me.”
From our key verse, the Psalmist had a testimony from the Lord in answer to prayer. Come I will tell you what the Lord has done to my soul. I prayed unto Him in my distress, pain and desire of my heart and the Lord heard me. He granted me my desire because of holiness; because I cleansed myself from sin, stopped all evil in my life and turned to Him fully. I avoided every sin and conducted myself in righteousness. He heard my prayer. If I had regarded iniquity in my heart, He would not have heard me. Thank God I came to righteousness before Him that the Lord would hear.
Why do you exact much force in prayer when sin is still in you? Do you lack understanding? Iniquity will stop God from answering you. Why do you labor in prayer when you have not done your restitution? You are in strife with someone and you have not settled it. You did a bad thing and you have not confessed it. You have married wrongly and you have not done your restitution in marriage. You borrowed people’s money and refused to pay but you like to fast. You delight to seek the face of the Lord as though you have not committed iniquity whereas you have sinned.
If you want to progress in Christ, take away iniquity. Confess your iniquity and forsake it. Seek deliverance from God. Some are now agents of Satan because you hid the devil in your life and did not receive deliverance. You were managing witchcraft and Christianity until Satan gave you more assignment. You are now tagged an agent of darkness yet you pray and fast. Of what benefit or use then? Since iniquity is in your life which prayer will the Lord hear? Oh, I will tell others to pray for me if God will not hear my prayer. God knows your plans. Remove iniquity from you so that God can hear your prayers.

Thought for the day: Come to holiness to enjoy answers to prayer.

Every Word Of God For Daily Living For taking your time to study remain blessed July Tuesday 9th TOPIC: WE ARE IN THE TWILIGHT HOUR OF RAPTURE TEXT: Ephesians 5:26-27 KEY VERSE: Hebrews 9:28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation. Seeing the traces of the features of the next dispensation in this present dispensation, you should know that you are in the twilight hour. What is a twilight hour? A twilight hour is that hour of the day that you begin to see the traces of the night while it is still daylight (probably 7:00pm to 7:30pm). It is not completely dark, yet it is not complete bright either. While it is still day, you are seeing the traces of the night. A twilight hour is the hour when you are still in this dispensation but you are already seeing traces of the next. The twilight hour is the time that our Lord Jesus Christ was born and even though He came with the New Test...
