Beware of Strange Practices in Ministries

Sunday March 3rd

Text: 1 Kings 18:25-28
Key verse: 1 Corinthians 14:40 “Let all things be done decently and in order.”
If you have bought an anointed handkerchief for blessing, healing and protection and it is carefully kept in your box, it is an idol. The anointed handkerchief that they gave you about eleven years ago is still in your box. You have told your children, “Anytime you have headache, carry it and cover your head for 5 minutes then put it back there. Make sure it does not get dirty or torn.” That is an idol. Evil mentors taught you this wickedness to turn your heart from God. They do not tell people about their sins. Sin cannot block you from using handkerchief and holy water but can block you from receiving the miracles of Jesus. You therefore need to examine your life first but with these people, you do not need to do any self-examination.
Cultic preachers that say you should pray naked. They instruct you to go to a corner of your house and set up an altar there. They may give you Bible language to deceive you. Where did you have that one from? The Bible says that men should pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands without doubt or wrath but they say you should set up an altar in a corner of your house to be meeting with Jesus or with demons? These demons may distribute some blessings so that you can have testimonies to give and get more souls for them although many of the testifiers are liars; nothing happened but they go about telling to perpetrate false doctrines.
You now have a secret prayer book and you say, “This book is a precious book that can give you all the money you are looking. With this book, all your enemies will die.” The writers write corrupt books. They preach against the lordship of Christ. They preach that tribulation will come before the rapture, with their certificates. Professor this said it. They preach against God’s standard in marriage and refer you to bishop somebody. One of such bishops was my uncle but he has reunited with his first wife after thirty-eight years. He has done his restitution.

Thought for the day: Effectual fervent prayer of the righteous availeth much

Song for the day: Prayer is the key (2x), prayer is the master key …

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. January Saturday 18th TOPIC: HOW TO ATTAIN BIBLE HOLINESS TEXT: Romans 6:20-23 KEY VERSE: Romans 6:22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. Besides the essential knowledge of the holy life of a Christian, it is good to understand the manner and process of becoming holy before God. Holiness of life is a life that has overcome sin through the saving power of Jesus Christ. Romans 6:22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. It is a life that does not commit sin. 1John 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for His seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. Getting this experience requires four things: 1. Know that apart from holiness, there is no alternative lifestyle for heaven. Hebrews 12:14 Follow peace with all men, and holin...
