God’s Passionate Plea To The Backslider

Monday April 1st

Text: Jeremiah 3: 12 - 15
Key verse: Jeremiah3: 14 Turn, O backsliding children, saith the LORD; for I am married unto you: and I will take you one of a city, and two of a family, and I will bring you to Zion.
God is pleading with you to repent and return to Him. He is calling you back to a life of righteousness and holiness. You are backsliding. You have left His course. You are now using God’s money for business, saying you borrowed the money. From who? Under whose authority? You took His money. I heard the story of a sister that was a chapter treasurer. She said that a hand appeared in her room in the dream and to her surprise when she woke up, the twenty-five thousand naira she was keeping for her chapter disappeared. That hand stole it. Later, she had another dream; maybe wind blew into her room and another money was stolen. How do you catch this type of thief? So, she is not accepting that she took the money but the hand that came to the room in her dream took the money. What else did the hand take? Did the hand carry your money or wrappers? No, it only took God’s money.
Return, O backsliding children. I will not keep anger forever. God says there is still chance. God is saying there is still chance. Satan was the one carrying you to compromise. Satan gave you the vision. You pursued it and now that vision is wicked vision to take away your soul from God. Now the Lord says stop it and come back. Come back. Retrace your steps. I will not keep anger on you forever. I will forgive you. I’m married to you. I love you personally. I will forgive you. Love forgives. I will forgive you, come back. The Lord is pleading with you. Turn O backsliding children saith the Lord. He’s pleading, come back to this righteousness. You started this thing well, what happened to you? Don’t say it is poverty. Lazarus did not allow poverty to take him to hell. He made it to heaven. So do not tell me it is poverty. Something else; sin and not poverty. God says that if you return, He will have mercy upon you.

Thought for the day: Return, O backsliding children, saith the Lord

Song for the day: My Father, renew me …

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. January Saturday 18th TOPIC: HOW TO ATTAIN BIBLE HOLINESS TEXT: Romans 6:20-23 KEY VERSE: Romans 6:22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. Besides the essential knowledge of the holy life of a Christian, it is good to understand the manner and process of becoming holy before God. Holiness of life is a life that has overcome sin through the saving power of Jesus Christ. Romans 6:22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. It is a life that does not commit sin. 1John 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for His seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. Getting this experience requires four things: 1. Know that apart from holiness, there is no alternative lifestyle for heaven. Hebrews 12:14 Follow peace with all men, and holin...
