Truth Produces Godliness Which Attracts Eternal Life       

Wednesday February 21st

Text: 2 Timothy 3:15-17
Key verse: Psalm 94:22 “But the LORD is my defence, and my God is the rock of my refuge.”
The truth will produce godliness; godliness will attract eternal life because God who cannot lie promised eternal life to the godly. I, Pastor Paul Rika preach and teach the truth which is after godliness. Godliness gives eternal life because God promised that He will give him eternal life to the godly and the truth is what produces godliness. When you deny people the truth, they cannot be godly and so cannot have eternal life. Many refuse to preach against the use of earrings in their churches because of fear of man. Do you know that no man has the power to stop your preaching the truth that you are convinced of? Peter and the Apostles said, “We cannot but speak of the things which we have seen and heard which we know are true.” 
Do you fear church authority like the parents of the child born blind? Are you like them? They have gone to hell but you are coming after. What power does any church authority have to say you should not preach on earrings in that church? Go and preach it. What authority do they have to say that you should not baptize people correctly? Obey God because none of them will judge you on the last day. God will judge you for the carnal fear you manifest for man. Man can only dismiss you from service but God will dismiss you from the earth and send you to hell. Do they have power? The hair of your head shall not fall to the ground except the heavenly Father allows it. Fear will make you a fruitless person, waiting for divine judgment.
Remember that a tree in the garden bore no fruit for three years and the master said, “Why does it cumber the ground? Cut it down.” The gardener pleaded, “Let me dig around it and apply manure.” We are still digging around you to see if you will do anything, or if in that denomination you will keep shutting your mouth. If I had shut my mouth like that in deeper life, would you be in HOREMOW today?
