No Man Taketh This Honor Unto Himself

Friday, February 16th

Text: Hebrews 5:4-6

Key verse: Hebrews 5: 4 And no man taketh this honor unto himself, but he that is called of God, as was Aaron.
No matter how a man shines under you, know that he will not take over because you were chosen by the living God. He knows your weaknesses and as long as you come faithfully to Him and plead for grace, you will have it. There is more to ministry than gifts, charisma, and intelligent preaching. Aaron was a vocalist but there was more to leadership to bring people from Egypt than being vocal. So, please trust in God who has chosen you. Do not strive because your portion will always be there in the Lord. When a couple has given birth to a child and the child is eating food, why worry about another child coming, provided they can cater for them because it is their responsibility? Do not allow envy and jealousy to spoil the work of God, to make the leader envy others, mistreat them, and send them away because of fear that they will take over. The choice to ministry is of God; no man taketh it unto himself.
Christ never took this honor to Himself, but it was a pronouncement of God the Father: He chose Christ; “You will be a high priest before Me, I have accepted You, I have chosen You. I have appointed You today.” So, if you know this why do you envy your brother whom the Lord has chosen as though he chose himself? Why do you not accept his work? Are you against the Creator for making that choice? Therefore, do not envy a person the Lord has chosen. It is of God; it is the way He does it. The Jews were damned because they envied Jesus and refused to follow Him. Do not damn yourself because you refuse to believe, accept or follow someone the Lord has chosen. Note that he who desires to serve God as a minister must work on himself so he may qualify to be chosen, appointed, and recognized by God. Sometimes God uses men to select you; it may even be by voting. If you are born again and righteous, see it that God got at you for Himself. If you desire to work for God acceptably, then qualify yourself by righteousness.

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

The local church should teach and train her members on scriptural fasting. Believers need to know that the Lord expects...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. UNDERSTANDING ETERNITY WEDNESDAY MAY 10 TEXT: Psalm 90: 1 - 2 Key Verse: “The Lord is King forever and ever: the heathen are perished out of his land Psalm 10:16 People that understand eternity are always careful. Eternity means forever and ever, it means ever-lasting, ever-living, never dying. Trillion upon trillion years, eternity is still on, in fact it is life without end. There are two extreme ends of eternity: The kingdom of God called third heaven where God the Father, God the son, God the Holy Ghost, twenty-four elders, saints of God that make heaven, holy angels of God, and entire host of heaven dwell now presently; Hell-fire, where Satan, demons, and sinners that have died in their sins are presently kept. God is the One that introduced eternity. He lives forever. It is not a choice, the One who created us is forever, hence you will live forever, but what matters is where you will live eternally. Remove God from the way, then t...
