Uncommon Signs And Wonders (Part 1)

Thursday, February 8th

Text: Joshua 10:11-15
Key verse: Joshua 10: 12 Then spake Joshua to the Lord in the day when the Lord delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel, Sun, stand thou still upon Gibeon; and thou, Moon, in the valley of Ajalon.
These miracles come to the heart of men by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. It is not a law. It is not a normal operation. It is not for you to do them too. These are miracles, signs, and wonders performed by men through faith in God that occur by the will of God and may never happen again. The Holy Spirit inspires them through an individual by giving him uncommon faith for such uncommon miracles and such may never be repeated through all generations. He may never repeat it again in his life. Others may never do the same thing, no. These uncommon miracles exist so be careful with ministers who use miracles of scripture to deceive and spoil the church of Christ. Examples of uncommon miracles include the following:
Joshua stayed in the sun because he needed to win victory for God: This was a manifestation of uncommon faith by the will of God in the life of Joshua. He made pronouncement, “Sun, stand still. Moon, stay back there” which means the rotation of the earth was affected. The revolution of the earth was tempered with by the release of a great power that affected nature and God allowed it. Nature stood still, the planet stopped moving, and everything came to a standstill by the power of God over the universe. How often will God allow that? That people will always want to command the sun to stand still. No, it will not happen. If it was a common miracle, people would have confused nature. Somebody in Enugu will be stopping the sun, somebody in Sokoto will be hastening it, somebody in America will command the sun to turn red, and somebody elsewhere will command it to turn black. So, it is not a common miracle! Once in a generation, only through one man. The other miracle that completed the full day was after many generations in the days of King Ahaz and it came from God. The sun moved back ten degrees to make it a complete day.

Thought for the day: Uncommon faith produces uncommon miracles

Song for the day: Nothing prayer cannot do, Jesus answers prayer

Bible reading for the day: Numbers 3-4

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. FACTS TO BE UNDERSTOOD ON REVELATION MESSAGES WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11 TEXT: NUMBERS 12: 4-8. Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
