The Fruits Of The Lips Of A True And Holy Minister

Tuesday, February 13th

Text: Colossians 4: 5 - 6
Key verse: Hebrews 13:15 By him, therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.
The words that come out of him; the words that he speaks, are clean words. ‘He that loves pureness of heart for the fruits of his lips the king shall be his friend.’ When you speak, they see pureness of heart and holiness of life in you. The person that you are relating with will see holiness in you. ‘Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father which is in heaven. These are fruits that show that you are true and holy. Your words are true and can be verified; in ten years to come they will not change. Do not say something in the morning and something else by afternoon… “I did not say so. You did not hear me well.”
The words that come out of your mouth should have grace. Do not speak words that tear people apart. Do not threaten your members that you will deal with them. The Bible says forbear threatening. Do not speak like that. It does not mean you will not give a warning; of course, there is warning. ‘Stop that because if you keep doing that it will give you a problem.’ That is a sound warning devoid of carnal threatening. You are required to give warning but when you speak in the flesh, “I will deal with you, I will show you,” that is the flesh at work. Jesus warned about hell but He did not threaten people. As a godly minister, carefully choose acceptable words before you speak to show the type of man or woman you are.
What should come out of our lips? Praises, thanksgiving and worship of the living God. Speak edifying words during conversations; even appreciative words for one another … “Oh brother or sister, you have done well. Thank God for using you." These are fruits, the words of our lips. This is how you should live your life as a minister because you have learned it from a true and holy ministry. Go and be a true and holy minister producing fruits to confirm your state.

Thought for the day: Carefully choose acceptable words before you speak.

Song for the day: Take my life and let it be consecrated Lord to Thee

THE LORD IS REMOVING UNCIRCUMCISED LEADERS

REMAIN BLESSED AS YOU TAKE YOUR TIME TO STUDY THE WORD OF GOD. THURSDAY 30 DECEMBER THE LORD IS REMOVING UNCIRCUMCISED LEADERS TEXT: NUMBERS 14: 26-31  Key verse: Matthew 20:16 So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many  be called, but few chosen. Completion of the angelic message: The Lord continued. “Because of this mandate given to you, I am removing around you the uncircumcised leaders. I am going to fill their place with righteous and holy leaders from various nations and races.” Truly I had pondered if any minister has suffered like this. People I loved, cherished and lived peacefully with suddenly began to speak evil against me to my shock. Well, it happens in politics, but is limited to their countries, whereas mine is international! Yes, some ministers may have suffered these things, but that was before the advent of the Internet, so their sufferings were limited. Maybe through letters or newspapers for a limited time, but my own is in the world of the I...
