Man; A Great Disappointment To God 

Wednesday, February 14th

Text: Exodus 32: 1 - 10
Key verse: Genesis 6:6 “And it repented the LORD that He had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.”
The people told Aaron to make gods for them according to the manner of the Egyptians.” Do they know that the living God exists? He displayed His power among them. Did they know Him as the everlasting God that does not die? For this God does not die because He was the God that had been with Abraham and with them, for a period of more than four hundred years. They knew that He was everlasting. Did they see His miracle power? Ah, they saw everything. They saw hailstones and fire rained down upon Egypt. They saw the judgment of God over Egypt. 
They saw the Red Sea dried up and congealed standing as two mighty walls and they crossed over. They saw the miracle that dissolved the water again and it cleared away the Egyptians. They saw the pillar of cloud by day and the pillar of fire by night. They saw those things. Why are they going back to Egypt? Why are you disappointing God? Because of marriage. ‘I have not married.’ Then you disappoint this great God. Will you now give your body to men to sleep with you because you want to marry? Will you go and collect charms to hasten marriage? Wonderful! Why are you like this? And you were once baptized in the Holy Ghost. Do you have an understanding? 
What happened to you that you are seeking to serve strange gods? After being in HOREMOW and learning all these teachings you say, “I am going back to Living Faith.” What is your problem? Do we teach the same thing? Worse still, you say you are going back to Catholicism. With all these things you have learned you say you want to go and do “Hail Mary" and be bowing to images and idols. I do not know what is happening to man. Worst of all, a young man who was a member of HOREMOW created a Facebook page called, ‘Sons and Daughters of Pastor Paul Rika,’ then backslid and went back to Islam. What a great disappointment.
