THE WORD OF GOD IS FOOD FOR A MAN’S SOUL

God bless you for taking the time to study.

TOPIC: THE WORD OF GOD IS FOOD FOR A MAN’S SOUL

TEXT: Luke 4:4

MONDAY MAY 1ST

Key verse: Psalm 19:7 The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.
The word of God is the revelation of God's mind and nature to mankind. God's word is food for our souls by which we must live. Man shall feed upon every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. Man shall live, be nourished, and be fed by every word of God. The word of God is perfect; therefore, man should feed upon perfection and man should live on perfection according to the word of God. The word is sure. A man should live by the word that is sure, sincere, real, and certain. Again, it is right.  The word of God that is right is what man should feed upon. The word is pure so man shall live by the purity of the word. As you feed on purity so you should live in purity of the word. The word is clean; man should feed on and live by the clean word. Again, the word is true and righteous altogether. Man needs this true word. This word that is righteous altogether should be the word that man lives by.
If a man lives by the word, what will he be like? According to the characteristics of the word, he is going to be perfect because he lives by perfection. Again, he is going to be sure, sincere, and genuine.  He is going to be right in his ways. He is going to be pure in his nature, in his heart, in his character and in his being. He is also going to be clean in every way because the word that makes him clean is what he eats and feeds upon. He is going to be clean. And then he is going to be right and righteous all the time. Man shall be altogether right and righteous. God's word is complete and wholesome; it must not be added to or subtracted from. Our obedience to it must be similarly complete and wholesome. We must not half our obedience, nor be overzealous and begin to play some other things and say, “Oh we are over-righteous”. No! Keep to it exactly. That is the word of God. To awaken us to total obedience and wholesome loyalty to God's word in our daily lives and Christian service is the purpose of this message because many have left the true vision.

Thought for the day: The word of God is a must to keep God’scommandmentst.

Song of today: Something more than gold

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. FACTS TO BE UNDERSTOOD ON REVELATION MESSAGES WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11 TEXT: NUMBERS 12: 4-8. Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
