AVOID CREATING OFFENCES IN YOUR FAMILY AND MINISTRY

God bless you for taking the time to study.

AVOID CREATING OFFENCES IN YOUR FAMILY AND MINISTRY

TEXT- MATTHEW 18: 1-10

TUESDAY APRIL 11TH

Key Verse: “But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone was hanged about his neck, and that he was drowned in the depth of the sea.”
You may say that stepping on your brother’s toes creates an opportunity for him to forgive you. Do not create offences, or else you could be jeopardising your salvation. You are putting their salvation under threat, endangering the eternal life of your brother or sister.  It is not your job to try the faith of your brother or your sister. Do you consider that you do not have the power to make your brother or your sister forgive you? Once the offence has been created in the heart, you no longer have the power to get rid of it.  Let it not be said that you did evil so that good can come or that because of you, a brother or sister could not forgive and ended up in hell.
Will Jesus congratulate you for contributing to your brother or sister going to hell? Never! The key to life in your hands is to help ensure that you open the door to peace and love and render help to your brother. All you have the power to say are prayers to uphold your brother and not to set traps for him to fall, through your words and actions. By the same token, you may be careless when it comes to your dealings with your children. It may be in your custom to disregard children by saying that foolishness is in them. This may be true.
Inadequate experience hinders them in many areas.  However, have you inquired carefully? Remember that in the Book of 1 Samuel that Eli was careful. Eli was careful to listen attentively to the voice of Samuel, a young child of about eleven years old. If Eli was not attentive and perceptive enough to learn God’s call on the young man, how would the Word of God have had its proper effect? It may be true that you do not trust your children but can you specifically say why you do not trust them? What are the issues facing your children? Does child A have the same issues as child B? Do you attend to issues with carefulness or reliance on God to do what God has told you to do?

Thought for the day: Offences put your salvation in jeopardy on judgement day

Song of the day: Trust and Obey, for there is no other way.

Bible reading for the day: 1 Samuel 7-9; Luke 13:1-21

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

The local church should teach and train her members on scriptural fasting. Believers need to know that the Lord expects...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. UNDERSTANDING ETERNITY WEDNESDAY MAY 10 TEXT: Psalm 90: 1 - 2 Key Verse: “The Lord is King forever and ever: the heathen are perished out of his land Psalm 10:16 People that understand eternity are always careful. Eternity means forever and ever, it means ever-lasting, ever-living, never dying. Trillion upon trillion years, eternity is still on, in fact it is life without end. There are two extreme ends of eternity: The kingdom of God called third heaven where God the Father, God the son, God the Holy Ghost, twenty-four elders, saints of God that make heaven, holy angels of God, and entire host of heaven dwell now presently; Hell-fire, where Satan, demons, and sinners that have died in their sins are presently kept. God is the One that introduced eternity. He lives forever. It is not a choice, the One who created us is forever, hence you will live forever, but what matters is where you will live eternally. Remove God from the way, then t...
