BELIEVERS ARE ONE IN CHRIST WORLDWIDE

Text: 1 Corinthians 12:12-13

SATURDAY APRIL 15TH

Key Verse: Romans 8:8
Jesus Christ came and established one church before returning to heaven. The one Lord over the church unified His followers into one body worldwide called the body of Christ. Whoever believes and accepts Jesus as his or her Lord and Saviour is part of the members of the one body in Christ. No matter our differences, we are one in Christ. Our focus whenever we gather together anywhere in the world is for the Salvation and sanctification of our souls for God. In John 13:34 Jesus said He has given us a new commandment: “That ye love one another; as I love you, that ye also love one another”. God is calling us to love and accept one another as long as we are in Christ. The world has its differences, but shouldn’t follow it. Don’t allow your tribal, racial or class differences to affect your love for each other in Christ. Don’t allow the power of the flesh to rule over you. As they have accepted Christ in Asia, America, Europe or Africa, we are all one in Christ.
In the world, they envy one another, disdain other tribes, race or class, may be because they are more in number, or educated or militant in nature but that is carnality. The Lord is saying we should not mind these differences: In Christ we are one. You can do business together, marry each other and do things freely together. You are not of this world. The world is finishing, brethren let us work together as one body as we shall soon receive our Saviour. Never join the world to disdain anyone. In their meetings, they may say we are business tycoon, what is the status of your business? Have you done international business? This is the attitude of the world. Don’t bring it to the church: it is the people that are in the flesh that do mind the things of the flesh. Whether we are Jews or Greek we are one.  If God poured His Spirit upon all, then see each other as one. Why are you boasting of these mundane things? The pride of belonging to a developed country, tribe, race and class will exclude you from eternal life. How many wise men are called? Has God not despised the wisdom of this world? How can they that are dead in sins be esteemed above those who are dead to sins?

Thought for the day: Christian burial is different from the world’s burial.

Song for the day: When we get to heaven, at the marriage supper

Bible Reading for the day: 1 Samuel 17-18; Luke 15:1-10

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. FACTS TO BE UNDERSTOOD ON REVELATION MESSAGES WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11 TEXT: NUMBERS 12: 4-8. Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
