HEART SANCTIFICATION AND DAILY HOLY LIVING

FOR TAKING YOUR TIME TO STUDY THE WORD OF GOD REMAIN BLESSED.

DATE: SUNDAY 8th AUGUST

TOPIC: HEART SANCTIFICATION AND DAILY HOLY LIVING

TEXT: Matthew 12: 33-35

Key verse:  Hebrews 1:9 Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.

Sanctification has to do with the heart. The Bible teaches that when you make the heart clean, the mouth will be clean also. The heart is the seat of life and thoughts and from the heart proceeds good and evil thoughts. The heart controls you.

The mouth does not speak by itself but what the heart supplies to it. The members of the body do not work by themselves but are directed by the heart. If you want the whole body to be controlled and directed properly, give your heart to the Lord.

This is why God says “My Son, give me your heart” (Proverbs 23:26). If you give me your hand, your hand does not control the whole body; it can only touch some parts and not all parts of the body. If I say give me your eyes; your eyes cannot see everything in your life.

But I ask that you give me your heart because it is the seat of man. It is the headquarters of man. It is from the heart that the blood is pumped to all parts of the body. The heart directs the other members of the body to do evil or to do good works.

It is the heart that controls all actions – what you should do and what you should not do; what you should take and what you should not take; whether you should love God or not love Him; all these are from the heart.

God is giving attention to your heart to make that heart clean and holy. If that happens, the righteousness and holiness He is looking for from you will be possible.

The key verse says, “Thou lovest righteousness and hateth wickedness.” That is why the Lord your God has promoted you above your fellows. If a church loves righteousness and hates wickedness, that church will be promoted by God.

If a pastor loves righteousness and hates wickedness in practice, that pastor will be promoted by God. If a church member or a Christian loves righteousness; practically performs it and hates iniquity, that person will be promoted by God.

We are in the time that God wants to make people holy and filled with love for righteousness, having put iniquity to death in their lives. Make this a prayer point and ask the Lord to do it in your life.

Thought for the day: Out of the heart are the issues of life. Guide it with diligence.

Song for the day: Take my heart and let it be, concentrated Lord to Thee….

Bible reading for the day:  Psalm 82-84;

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. FACTS TO BE UNDERSTOOD ON REVELATION MESSAGES WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11 TEXT: NUMBERS 12: 4-8. Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
