ACT UPON MY WORD IN BLIND AND CLINGING FAITH

FOR TAKING YOUR TIME TO STUDY THE WORD OF GOD REMAIN BLESSED.

DATE: MONDAY 9th AUGUST

TOPIC: ACT UPON MY WORD IN BLIND AND CLINGING FAITH

TEXT:  Luke 5:4-6

Key verse:  John 6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

Sometimes, the circumstances of life and My word seem so hard to reconcile. To many, My counsels seem only an idea, shattered by the realities of living. Yet, when My word is acted upon (often in blind, clinging faith), it proves itself exactly what is needed in a person's life. It is the word of truth.

In My word is found all the qualities of My Godhead. It is here that you are in contact with My love, My wisdom, and My power. My followers must always cherish My word, rest in it, bathe in it! It goes to the heart of every situation. It will unfailingly uplift and bring steadiness in the midst of doubts, misgivings, and failure.

Habakkuk 2:1-4 I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved. And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end, it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.

Never let any fear or compulsion make you give way to impatience. If you seek My will, I will show you very clearly when a matter is urgent. Only something blessed by Me is truly effective. That is why so many things in which you show patience prove worthwhile — because I complete them.

Matters carried out with haste may not be according to My wish — and your impatient effort could then so easily have been wasted. Many things are desirable, but only some have to be carried out immediately.

By your patience, give Me room to work — and let Me be seen at work. Know that I will never fail to act as you make the conditions, which are an obedient, quiet, and ordered life.

Thought for the day: The word of God is the compass of life.

Song for the day: Shepherd of my soul, I give you full control….

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...
For taking your time to study remain blessed. FACTS TO BE UNDERSTOOD ON REVELATION MESSAGES WEDNESDAY JANUARY 11 TEXT: NUMBERS 12: 4-8. Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
