DO NOT HARDEN YOUR HEART AGAINST GOD'S TRUTH

TEXT: Hebrews 3:7-19

Key verse:  Proverbs 28:14 Happy is the man that feareth alway: but he that hardeneth

his heart shall fall into mischief.

A hardened heart is the heart that hears the truth and refuses to respond to it. He hears the truth and purposely rejects it. It is the heart of the hypocrite. It is the heart of the pretender. It is the heart of zealous liars. They are zealous but liars. They are full of pretences. They pretend they are living a holy life; they pretend they are following Jesus with all joy but there is no testimony in their lives to prove it. Their heart is hardened towards God and towards His commandments. Some of them have risen up the ladder of leadership in the Church but they are not genuine Christians. Now, God is revealing them in our midst gradually.

You will discover that they have never fully responded to God for the salvation of their soul. They know the truth but they are not ready for it because they love their lives of sin. Their lying lips serve them only for a time.  Over time, it will become manifest and all will see that they are not original. It shall soon be revealed that they are spiritually dead and not alive. It will show brother. My sister, it is going to show with time. It will show that somebody is dead. How long does it take to know whether somebody is asleep or dead? Within one week, flies will locate a decomposing dead body. In the same way, time will soon prove a hypocritical or hardened heart. If there is a particular sin in your life and the word has been hitting you but you refuse to change, the Lord shall locate you soon for iniquity shall not continue forever.

A hardened heart cannot be penetrated into. Light cannot penetrate into it. Genuine love cannot penetrate into it. Goodness cannot penetrate into it. Kindness cannot penetrate into it because it is too hard to allow anything in. All that you do are pretences. The heart cannot absorb moisture. A hardened heart cannot accept anything into it. Don't serve God with this type of heart.

Thought for the day: Don't harden your heart against the truth of God. There lies your salvation.

Song for the day: I want to be like Daniel to obey Jesus Christ

Bible reading for the day: Psalm 116-118; 1 Corinthians 2

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
