TOPIC: THE BEAUTY OF RESTITUTION

TOPIC: THE BEAUTY OF RESTITUTION

December Friday 11th

Text: Luke 19:1-10

Key verse: Luke 19:10 For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.

Failure to carry out restitution may cause you to slip back to your sins. Did you say you are born again but you are married to a second wife? You must do your restitution by sending that woman away in peace. If not, the moment you engage in sexual intercourse with that woman again, your testimony is destroyed. It is satanic deceit for a man who has abandoned his first wife and got married to a second wife to think his name is in the book of life. Forget about those who lay claim to the Holy Ghost and go about speaking in tongues whereas they are in a wrong marriage. Do you know that you can put out fire, yet smoke could still be going up? Your life is in smoke now. The real fire of righteousness is quenched because you are with another woman.  You may say, “But God is still answering my prayers?” This happens because God in His wisdom, patience and endurance believes you will change tomorrow, but at present, your name is not in the book of life.

The Lord came to Abimelech and said, you are but a dead man. Abimelech claimed innocence saying. “Will you also slay a righteous nation? In the purity of my heart and innocence of my hands have I done this.” God referred to him as a dead man because he had transgressed the law by marrying another man’s wife. “Restore the man his wife, otherwise I have told you that you are dead.” Not to do your restitution as required by God is sin standing against you. The gospel of Jesus is adorned by the doctrine and practice of restitution. It makes the doctrine of Jesus beautiful. You borrowed money from somebody for 15years and the man has been waiting for you to pay but you refused to pay him. Now that you have repented, you must look for the man and plead with him. “Oh, sorry I borrowed money from you long ago and did not pay. Now I have repented and I am willing to repay.” That is restitution! Even if the man decides to forgive the debt he will cherish the doctrine of Christ. He will wonder at Jesus. He will praise the Lord for what has happened. Others will see it and also praise the Lord. They will thank God for your life.

Thought for the day: The gospel is adorned by the doctrine and practice of restitution.

For taking your time to study remain blessed. UNDERSTANDING ETERNITY WEDNESDAY MAY 10 TEXT: Psalm 90: 1 - 2 Key Verse: “The Lord is King forever and ever: the heathen are perished out of his land Psalm 10:16 People that understand eternity are always careful. Eternity means forever and ever, it means ever-lasting, ever-living, never dying. Trillion upon trillion years, eternity is still on, in fact it is life without end. There are two extreme ends of eternity: The kingdom of God called third heaven where God the Father, God the son, God the Holy Ghost, twenty-four elders, saints of God that make heaven, holy angels of God, and entire host of heaven dwell now presently; Hell-fire, where Satan, demons, and sinners that have died in their sins are presently kept. God is the One that introduced eternity. He lives forever. It is not a choice, the One who created us is forever, hence you will live forever, but what matters is where you will live eternally. Remove God from the way, then t...
PRACTICE OF PRAYER AND FASTING.  WEDNESDAY NOVEMBER 1 TEXT: ISAIAH 58:1-8                                                                                                        Key verse: “And she was a widow of about fourscore and four years, which departed not from the temple, but served God with fastings and prayers night and day”  Luke 2:37. The local church should teach and train her members on scriptural fasting. Believers need to know that the Lord expects...

Pastor Paul Rika’s Burden, Vision and Action To Reach the Unreached (2)

God's blessings will continually accompany you for dedicating time to your studies. Pastor Paul Rika’s Burden, Vision and Action To Reach the Unreached (2) Wednesday 15th October TEXT: Titus 3: 3-6   Key verse: Titus 3: 6 “Which He shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior.” I remember I was in Sao Tome and Principe as a deeper life national overseer and I was writing the book, “Divine Revelation of God’s Holiness and Judgment.” The vision the Lord gave to Michael Sambo. I was translating it into a book, with the scriptural backups to make it a sound evangelistic book. I saw that truly the world is doomed. What will I say about those who have not known Jesus among the 7 billion people on earth; those who do not even have anything to do with Him? Do I speak of the billions in Asia without understanding of Jesus? Out of the 1.4 billion in India, they are struggling to record 150 million Christians including Catholics.  Who knows Jesus then? Even among Pentecosta...
