TOPIC: DO NOT CELEBRATE IGNORANCE! December Wednesday 16th

Text:  Isaiah 5:13-16

Key verse: Leviticus 5:17 And if a soul sin, and commit any of these things which are forbidden to be done by the commandments of the Lord; though he wist it not, yet is he guilty, and shall bear his iniquity.

Sin committed unknowingly is the commandment of God broken or transgressed in ignorance and is subject to divine penalty, unless the pardon is sought for it in Christ and, restitution carried out where required. God is no respecter of persons. Submit yourself to the Holy Spirit and to God's Word. Do not reject or ignore sound teaching of God's word that will reveal your sins to you for your thorough cleansing and holiness in Christ. This is the Lord’s commandment concerning His followers. Value the place of true and holy preachers, teachers and pastors in your life. Learn from them; listen to them; acquire their evangelism materials and messages; support them and associate with them. Understand that it is the mercy of God that makes you aware of these truths so that you could repent, correct your ways and ultimately save yourself from God's judgment. In case you are considering the shame, pain or cost of correcting your past wrongs, thinking that restitution is too hard to do, remember the pain, cost or shame involved in restitution cannot be compared to the eternal pain, cost or shame of hellfire.

Ephesians 4:4-6 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; 5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. Christ established one Church on earth and gave one Bible, the Word of God, to His church. So, be sure to verify your beliefs and practice to ensure you are complying with the complete standard of God as outlined in His Word. Ignorance of gospel truth on how to obtain peace with God has slain millions of unbelievers and is still doing so today. JESUS ALONE is the way to God. There is no alternative. The same ignorance is seen in many preachers of the gospel today, who are busy leading people to hell. They are ignorant of the truth that will set them free from eternal damnation, so are their followers.

Thought for the day: Ignorance is no excuse in law

Song for the day: Lord teach me Your word

Bible reading for the day: Amos 7-9; Revelation 7

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
