TOPIC: SATAN IS BUSY BUT GOD’S PURPOSE WILL STAND
TEXT: Isaiah 41: 11-13
KEY VERSE: Isaiah 14:24 The LORD of hosts hath sworn, saying, Surely as I have thought, so shall it come to pass; and as I have purposed, so shall it stand:
Satan is a destiny destroyer. He saw the glorious destiny of young Joseph and set out to destroy it, just as he plotted to kill infant Moses and baby Jesus. You could see Satan always frustrating Joseph. He used his brethren to plan his extermination. They cast him into the pit. Eventually they sold him into Egypt. The frustrating work of the devil! In Egypt, a lie came up against him and he was thrown into prison. Frustrating work of Satan! Who does the devil frustrate? If your life has no meaning, does Satan bother? It is because your life has meaning. There is a future for you, that is why Satan wants to frustrate your life. As I write this, I see one Esther smiling. Maybe, the Lord has made her to know that a bright future is waiting for her. Ah! Do you remember the story of Mordecai? Did you see how Mordecai became the number two man in the kingdom? I want you to know God’s future plan for you. Don’t mind that you, as Mordecai, are sitting at the gate now as a gateman. Soon your employment shall change.
The Holy Spirit has already given you a witness, a dream, a prophecy. God is speaking to you about your future, and it shall be so. I see the Mordecai in you smiling now. I see your Haman, your oppressor, bowing out. Praise the Lord! Isaiah 43: 18-21 Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert. The beast of the field shall honour Me, the dragons and the owls: because I give waters in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert, to give drink to My people, My chosen. This people have I formed for Myself; they shall shew forth My praise.
Thought for the day: The LORD of hosts hath purposed, and who shall disannul it?
Song for the day: He has no power (2x) Satan has no power to stop the plan of God in......
Bible reading for the day:
1Samuel 1-3; Luke 12:1-34
