TOPIC: GOD’S WORD TO THE RICH MEN AND WOMEN IN CHRIST
TEXT: JAMES 5:1-6
KEY VERSE: 1 TIMOTHY 6:17 Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;

The Lord is the one that makes His children rich in this world. He gives the power, privilege, wisdom and grace to make wealth to His children. Not all are materially rich as we can see in scripture and in real life. But in the body of Christ there are brethren who are financially and materially rich. God knows the blessings of riches and destructive force of riches. When riches and wealth are handled well, they give earthly and eternal blessings. Proverbs 10:22 “The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.”

However, when material riches and wealth are not subjected to the word of God in their uses and management, they result in all kinds of miseries and the everlasting damnation of hell fire. The following are important to guide the rich and wealthy believer.

1. Do not set your heart on money, but God. 1 Timothy 6:9-12.
2. Do not serve money. Serve God only. Matthew 6:24.
3. Do not associate closely with the rich and great men of this world. 1 Corinthians 15:33. They do not know Jesus. Their ways are not righteous.
4. Seek the will of God for all things. James 4:13-15.
5. Lay your treasure in heaven. Matthew 6:19-21. Give you tithes and offerings.
6. Trust in God and not in your wealth. 1 Timothy 6:17. God is a defence for those that trust in Him.
7. Be rich in good works. 1 Timothy 6:17-19. Be good, kind, merciful and compassionate towards the poor and needy.

In conclusion, watch against the followings: pride, men giving worship to you because of money, shifting the faith of men from God to yourself.

Thought for the day: Let your riches not overtake Jesus in your life.
Song for the day: My hope is built on nothing less
Bible reading for the day:
Judges 20-21; Luke 11:1-28

For taking your time to study remain blessed. UNDERSTANDING ETERNITY WEDNESDAY MAY 10 TEXT: Psalm 90: 1 - 2 Key Verse: “The Lord is King forever and ever: the heathen are perished out of his land Psalm 10:16 People that understand eternity are always careful. Eternity means forever and ever, it means ever-lasting, ever-living, never dying. Trillion upon trillion years, eternity is still on, in fact it is life without end. There are two extreme ends of eternity: The kingdom of God called third heaven where God the Father, God the son, God the Holy Ghost, twenty-four elders, saints of God that make heaven, holy angels of God, and entire host of heaven dwell now presently; Hell-fire, where Satan, demons, and sinners that have died in their sins are presently kept. God is the One that introduced eternity. He lives forever. It is not a choice, the One who created us is forever, hence you will live forever, but what matters is where you will live eternally. Remove God from the way, then t...
Every Word Of God For Daily Living For taking your time to study remain blessed July Tuesday 9th TOPIC: WE ARE IN THE TWILIGHT HOUR OF RAPTURE TEXT: Ephesians 5:26-27 KEY VERSE: Hebrews 9:28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation. Seeing the traces of the features of the next dispensation in this present dispensation, you should know that you are in the twilight hour. What is a twilight hour? A twilight hour is that hour of the day that you begin to see the traces of the night while it is still daylight (probably 7:00pm to 7:30pm). It is not completely dark, yet it is not complete bright either. While it is still day, you are seeing the traces of the night. A twilight hour is the hour when you are still in this dispensation but you are already seeing traces of the next. The twilight hour is the time that our Lord Jesus Christ was born and even though He came with the New Test...
