TOPIC: GOD HAS A BRIGHT FUTURE FOR YOU
TEXT: Acts 15:17-18
KEY VERSE: Psalm 40:5 Many, O LORD my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.

According to the Bible account on Joseph, God revealed his future to him. In one way or the other, God would have told you the blessed future He has for you also. Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. God is telling you this so that you will know He has a bright future for you as He had for Joseph. But one thing we see in this Bible account of Joseph’s future is that, when the future is revealed by God, you don’t automatically attain it. It can be lost, wasted, or you may be led away from it. There is a path you must follow to actualize that future. When God says, “I know the future I have set for you,” it means He has not yet finished His work on you; you are still a work-in-progress. God met with Abraham when he was 75 years old. He brought Moses into His business at the age of 80. That was only the starting point in their lives.

I was a youth like you. God revealed my future to me through dreams and other ways. I cooperated with God through a life of obedience, holy living and fervent prayers. Today, all can see that He has given me great rewards and attainments. A blessed destiny shall be yours in Jesus name. Don’t be discouraged by your present situation for your story will soon change. God will be your Father. He will be your sponsor. God will be your Healer and Deliverer. God will make you succeed and excel beyond your wildest imagination. Isaiah 41: 9-10 Thou whom I have taken from the ends of the earth, and called thee from the chief men thereof, and said unto thee, Thou art my servant; I have chosen thee, and not cast thee away. 10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

Thought for the day: Hold fast to God to secure your glorious destiny.
Song for the day: Where He leads me I will follow…

KEY VERSE: It came to pass, as He was praying in a certain place, when He ceased, one of His disciples said, Lord, teach us how to pray as John taught his disciples. Luke 11: 1. When Jesus Christ came to us in the flesh, He went into the business of prayer because He was promoting the attribute of God as a prayer-answering God. He would not render that attribute idle or redundant. Nobody knew how John did it, but Jesus reveals here that the success you saw in the ministry of John the Baptist, the victory you saw in his ministry, is because he was a prayer man. John so much valued prayer. He saw the essentials of pr...
