TOPIC: EXAMPLES OF JUST MEN THAT LIVED BY FAITH
TEXT: GENESIS 5:22-24
Key verse:  Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

The expression ‘live by faith” covers every aspect of life and destiny. It means living happily, joyfully, righteously and satisfactorily by faith. You can live a peaceful and qualitative life by faith as you totally trust in God. Your trust is not on money, the people you have (your connections) and your certificates. You are not living by material things, food and money but by the living God. You can live a righteous, holy, peaceful and joyful life by faith. We shall consider the lives of three bible characters that demonstrated strong faith in God.

(1.) Enoch: Child of God, know that the just shall live by faith. Enoch walked with God to the end of his life. It was a daily trust in God that helped and sustained Enoch throughout his lifespan. Through faith in God you can maintain your righteousness and holiness until death or rapture.
(2.) PAUL: Apostle Paul showed that the holy life is possible by faith. You can live the holy life if you look up to the living God. Set your eyes on the cross of Christ and look unto Jesus; you can live the holy life. There is no force or temptation too powerful to be overcome if you set your eyes on Jesus. Peter looked at Jesus and got restored from backsliding. Faith in God will restore you. The just shall live by his faith. The just shall survive, overcome and breakthrough by his faith.
(3.) JABEZ: The just shall prosper by faith. The Bible says in Hebrews 11:6, “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” All you need to do to prosper in life is to sincerely seek the Lord and diligently do so until you encounter the Lord for a change of your story. Jabez only prayed and sought the Lord and the Lord prospered him.  All power belongs to God.  The power to prosper belongs to God and you can connect to that power by faith.  The Lord will keep and prosper you in Jesus name.

Thought for the day: The man of faith will remain focused on Jesus no matter his situation.
Song for the day: Faith of our fathers living still

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

January Saturday 18th TOPIC: HOW TO ATTAIN BIBLE HOLINESS TEXT: Romans 6:20-23 KEY VERSE: Romans 6:22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. Besides the essential knowledge of the holy life of a Christian, it is good to understand the manner and process of becoming holy before God. Holiness of life is a life that has overcome sin through the saving power of Jesus Christ. Romans 6:22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. It is a life that does not commit sin. 1John 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for His seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. Getting this experience requires four things: 1. Know that apart from holiness, there is no alternative lifestyle for heaven. Hebrews 12:14 Follow peace with all men, and holin...
