TOPIC: ASK WHAT I SHALL GIVE THEE
TEXT: Jeremiah 29: 11-12
Key verse: “In Gibeon the LORD appeared to Solomon in a dream by night: and God said, Ask what I shall give thee. 1 Kings 3:5

God is a prayer-answering God and He invites people to pray to Him. Asking and receiving is a good relationship God wants to establish with men. He wants to establish with you, a relationship of “asking and receiving.” In Psalm 65:2 the Bible says, “O Thou that hearest prayer, unto Thee shall all flesh come.” That is the testimony of people. People know God as God that hears prayers, and they say that unto Him shall all flesh come. Every member of the family should learn to come to God – the father should come to Him, the mother should come to Him, the children should come to Him, because He is the God that hears prayers. Every member of the Church should know God as the one that hears prayers. The Church is serving the God that hears prayers, and to Him all of us should come.

Prayer is a privilege. For God to say, “Ask what I shall give thee,” it is a great privilege! It is an opportunity to ask, and God is the one that invited you to ask. It is a great privilege and a demonstration of God’s grace. God wants to flow out to you in His goodness and kindness, therefore, He said: “Come and ask; I want to show forth My kindness and goodness to your life.”
Prayer is a manifestation of His mercy. He knows we can do nothing on our own. He knows that without Him we can achieve nothing. He knows we cannot get there on our own. He knows that we cannot win the battle on our own. He knows that we cannot save our souls. He knows we cannot get what we are looking for by our own power. That is why, in mercy, He invites us to come and pray; to come and call unto Him; to come and ask Him – to ask Him because He wants to bless us and “give us an expected end” (Jeremiah 29:11). Prayer is the means of receiving God’s blessing. Through prayers, we receive from God, promises, power and privileges.

Thought for the day: Pray your way through into the storehouse of God’s blessing.
Song for the day: I want to pray (3x) … Lord teach me how to pray
Bible reading for the day: 1 Samuel 13-14; Luke 14:1-24

For taking your time to study remain blessed. UNDERSTANDING ETERNITY WEDNESDAY MAY 10 TEXT: Psalm 90: 1 - 2 Key Verse: “The Lord is King forever and ever: the heathen are perished out of his land Psalm 10:16 People that understand eternity are always careful. Eternity means forever and ever, it means ever-lasting, ever-living, never dying. Trillion upon trillion years, eternity is still on, in fact it is life without end. There are two extreme ends of eternity: The kingdom of God called third heaven where God the Father, God the son, God the Holy Ghost, twenty-four elders, saints of God that make heaven, holy angels of God, and entire host of heaven dwell now presently; Hell-fire, where Satan, demons, and sinners that have died in their sins are presently kept. God is the One that introduced eternity. He lives forever. It is not a choice, the One who created us is forever, hence you will live forever, but what matters is where you will live eternally. Remove God from the way, then t...

Pastor Paul Rika’s Burden, Vision and Action To Reach the Unreached (2)

God's blessings will continually accompany you for dedicating time to your studies. Pastor Paul Rika’s Burden, Vision and Action To Reach the Unreached (2) Wednesday 15th October TEXT: Titus 3: 3-6   Key verse: Titus 3: 6 “Which He shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior.” I remember I was in Sao Tome and Principe as a deeper life national overseer and I was writing the book, “Divine Revelation of God’s Holiness and Judgment.” The vision the Lord gave to Michael Sambo. I was translating it into a book, with the scriptural backups to make it a sound evangelistic book. I saw that truly the world is doomed. What will I say about those who have not known Jesus among the 7 billion people on earth; those who do not even have anything to do with Him? Do I speak of the billions in Asia without understanding of Jesus? Out of the 1.4 billion in India, they are struggling to record 150 million Christians including Catholics.  Who knows Jesus then? Even among Pentecosta...
