TOPIC; PRACTICAL PRINCIPLES OF LEADERSHIP. TUESDAY NOVEMBER 28
TEXT: DEUTERONOMY 13:12-14
Key Verse: And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also 2Tim 2:2.
Correction is the responsibility of everyone of us, as a faithful member of Horemow you should not see indecency and keep quiet. Pray for yourself pray for the people, pray to know what you’ll do, pray to know what you’ll say so that the Lord will guide you in every respect. Reject anger and be patient, the anger in your life weakens the people you are ruling, it is a temptation to them that they’ll not fear God anymore but you and will seek to please you. Your anger makes the people confuse, be patient because people will make mistakes. Even if it were to be you, you’ll make mistake why do you behave as if everyone should do everything so perfectly at once. Bear it, it will give the people room to develop. Seek wisdom seek understanding, make proper investigation on things before taking final decision, before you rebuke or take any action. What you’ve heard, what has been reported is a hearsay. Inquire don’t say you’ve known make diligent search, ask diligently. Behold if it is true then judgment must come. This is also applicable to prophecy, check well, confirm from scriptures, confirm from God before you accept any prophecy. The appropriate judgment should be taken because it is God’s judgment. Don’t pity to take judgment over a man whatever is the judgment for him, don’t spare him or conceal him. Christian discipline is important don’t keep quiet.
Take it seriously so that others will hear and fear. Leaders be thou examples of the believers. Provide for honest things in the sight of God and in the sight of all men. In dealing with women be transparent enough. In your counseling room don’t give room for suspicion don’t close door and do counseling, what if someone is coming in with a silent gun? In money matters, get receipt where possible, explain where possible. The people should be assured that you are just you are righteous. In Heb 13:7 the scripture calls the leader a ruler, a watchman. Rule as they that will give account to God. Be careful that all those people that come to you, you’ll give report of how they left, what your role was in their leaving, what you’ve done since they left, you’ll give account to God. Deal patiently, deal in love, be firm, be meek, be truthful, be faithful. It may really look hard, the grace of God shall help you. The Lord bless you, bless your ministry and grant you entrance into heaven in Jesus name.
Thought for the day: Rule as they that will give account to God.
Song for the day: Lord prepare me a sanctuary.
Bible Reading for the day:

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

UNDERSTANDING ETERNITY WEDNESDAY MAY 10 TEXT: Psalm 90: 1 - 2 Key Verse: “The Lord is King forever and ever: the heathen are perished out of his land Psalm 10:16 People that understand eternity are always careful. Eternity means forever and ever, it means ever-lasting, ever-living, never dying. Trillion upon trillion years, eternity is still on, in fact it is life without end. There are two extreme ends of eternity: The kingdom of God called third heaven where God the Father, God the son, God the Holy Ghost, twenty-four elders, saints of God that make heaven, holy angels of God, and entire host of heaven dwell now presently; Hell-fire, where Satan, demons, and sinners that have died in their sins are presently kept. God is the One that introduced eternity. He lives forever. It is not a choice, the One who created us is forever, hence you will live forever, but what matters is where you will live eternally. Remove God from the way, then t...
