CHAINS OF IMMORALITY BROKEN.  MONDAY NOVEMBER 20
TEXT: ACTS 9: 1- 9
Key Verse: “And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do?  And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.” Acts 9: 6
A young man openly testified on the last night of the just concluded International Holiness Ministers’ Conference 2016 of how God saved him from fetters of immorality during a Crusade organized by Holiness Revival Movement in Nyanya, Abuja. According to him, he was on his way to visit harlots at the mammy Market in Nyanya on that fateful day. However, when the commercial motorcyclist dropped him, he noticed that a gospel crusade was going on nearby, but he was not interested, because his sole aim of coming there was to sleep with a prostitute. Suddenly, a strong conviction came upon him to find out what actually was going on there. So, he moved towards the venue of the crusade, but stood afar off. A voice asked him, “Why not move closer?” So he moved a little closer. The voice still pressed on him to go even closer, so he moved closer and joined them at the Crusade.
The message preached arrested him and he surrendered his life to the Lord Jesus Christ. There and then, he became soundly converted, and was counseled by the brethren to continue with the Lord. After the program, he discovered that the desire for immorality had totally vanished from him. He had no single passion for immorality any longer. There and then, he began a new life in Jesus Christ. Praise the Lord! He also testified of the healing touch of God at the Crusade ground. The feeling of health and wellness he experienced helped him to realize that he was actually sick before then. Glory be to God for the healing and salvation of this precious soul, for the Son of man came to seek and to save that which was lost. Acts 9: 3 – 5 (And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus:  and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven:  And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?  And he said, who art thou, Lord?  And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest:  it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.)
Thought for the day: The vilest offender who truly believes receives pardon from Jesus
Song for the day: To God be the glory, great things He has done

Bible reading for the day: Ezekiel 22-23; James 2

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
