DELIVERANCE FROM UNGODLY CLOTHING. THURSDAY NOVEMBER 2
TEXT: REVELATION 17:1-9
Key verse:“Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and stood before the angel. And he answered and spake unto those that stood before him, saying, Take away the filthy garments from him. And unto him he said, Behold, I have caused thine iniquity to pass from thee, and I will clothe thee with change of raiment” Zechariah 3:3-4.
The spirit behind ungodly dressing is strong; hence, many who profess salvation are still under its power. You are not yet free from the power of this spirit, if there is still any form of corruption in your dressing. When your eye opens to the grip of this spirit over you then you will know that you need deliverance from its power. Satan is the god of this world. He is the one designing the different kinds of fashions of ungodly clothing and adornment which sinners use. He has so darkened their understanding that they are not aware of what they are putting on. It is unfortunate the house of God is accommodating these evil spirits which accompany their victims, making pure Christianity difficult to themselves and others. This matter in our key verse for today concerns you, that you are filthy and unclean till now. You have submitted yourself to the power of evil spirits and these spirits follow you to the church to cause damage to the ministers and members of the church that are week in the faith. God sees you and Satan as one. Except you are delivered from satanic power of ungodly and corrupt dressing, you will not see God. Arise and deliver yourself from the power of Satan and get all uncleanness from your life. Be totally free from the following accursed dressing and adornment: Jerry curling, Perming, Hair attachment and weave-on, used of fanciful thread and wool, Dyeing of hair, stylish Haircut, Worldly plaiting or braiding, fixing beads or jewels into your hair and that of your child, use of earrings, nose rings, wedding rings, engagement rings, chains, bracelets, rings, beads-jewelry, Cortex and lipsticks, Artificial fingernails, eyelids and eye lashes, bleaching, Body painting and use of powder, Tattooing the body, sleeveless dresses, Body hugs or tight fitting blouse, gown and skirts. Use of men's clothing by ladies, Ass dawn by men, sagging, Split skirts and gowns, All gowns and skirts exposing the knee on sitting position, All blouse or gowns with deep cut to the breast, Gowns and blouses with show back, Use of trousers, Use of perforated dresses, Shinning stones on dresses, Shine shine clothing, Expensive wears for vain glory, Use of pearls, Use of high hill shoes, use of perfumes. If you purge yourself from these you will be a vessel unto honor. Ungodly and seductive dresses and adornment in the church must be confronted and scripturally challenged. The church of Christ must be cleansed from all evil. The holiness of God must prevail in Jesus name.
