THE WORD OF HIS GRACE.  SUNDAY NOVEMBER 12
TEXT: ACTS 11:25-26
Key verse: “And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified” Acts 20:32.
The hearing of God's word gives faith for salvation, sanctification, baptism with the Holy Spirit and other blessings of the gospel. When the word of God is richly preached and taught, members of the congregation will have the knowledge of the word, the knowledge of the living God in His Trinity: the Father, the Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. Great are the benefits of the word of God in our lives. Psalm 119:130. The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple. Psalm 19:7, 11,  7 The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple. 11 Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward. Psalm 119:11, Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee. John 8:30-32 As He spake these words, many believed on Him. Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on Him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. The believers need to be taught the doctrines of Scripture so they may know what to believe, what to do and what not to do. It is the responsibility of the ministers of God to outline and teach these scriptural doctrines for all to know and obey them. Through the preaching and teaching of the word of God believers can know their privileges in the gospel and appropriate them by faith. As good as singing, manifestation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit and other inspired activities are, they had limited place. Focus was given to the preaching and teaching of the word of God. The charge Timothy was given is the charge the Lord has given to every true minister of the gospel in the church of Christ today. 1Timothy 4:11-12. These things command and teach. Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity. Let the word of God be richly preached and taught so members of the congregation will have the knowledge of the word. Every believer has the liberty also to search the scripture in order to preach, teach and exhort one another and to reach out to unbelievers as well. Find time out of no time to spend on study and search of the word. Discover great inspirations.

Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All

God's blessing shall be following you continually for taking the time to study. Them That Sin, Rebuke Before All   Monday 24th March Text: 1 Timothy 5: 19-22 Key verse: Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear. 1 Timothy 5:20 God wants you to avoid doing evil while saying you want to go to heaven. You may be a member of a worldly church and be saying, “It is my tribal church; if I leave them, they will be angry. I do not want them to be angry.” Is it God you want to make angry by your compromise? You will see the anger of God indeed. It is through the word that you perfect the people, and as a result, the Bible says, “Thou shalt not suffer sin upon your brother. Thou shall reprove him.” Your brother or sister has done a bad thing, and you do not bother. You leave them in their sins. They may do the same to other people. The Lord says, “Correct them.” Do not allow sin to be in them because sin will take them to hell. The Bible says, “Them that sin, rebuke befo...

Key verse: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them" Isaiah 8:20. God has given revelations to many in our days and He is still in the business of doing that. The choice of these messengers is His sovereign will. Some of these revelations are written in books for all to read and some are shared verbally. There are scriptural facts to be understood on these revelation messages. They follow the pattern of scriptural revelations in the Holy Bible. Some are given in plain, simple and direct language, while some are given in pictorial language and figures of speech. The recipient of the revelation may be an ignorant person whose understanding is unfruitful, hence, he may not be capable to interpret the revelation received. Except God gives the grace of interpretation to ...
